  • i love it but im not a fan of that belt drive thing.

  • How can I get this to me in California?

  • @HRJAS0914 check bedovelo.ch and send me a e-mail, will send you back the shipping costs. all the best

  • How many teeth are on your front and rear cog. What Schlumpf Drive crank are you using?

  • bedovelo.ch/twinfix/specE.pdf

  • THIS IS AMAZING!

  • can it haul fat chicks?

  • That's a decent bike, that is.

  • WEAR A FUCKING HELMET.

Signed, a friendly EMT that doesn't want to clean up your brains..

  • @axblake1 I don't wear a helmet, and my brains are stil safely in my head.

There are plenty of debates out there about whether or not helmets even make a difference to head injuries while cycling. I won't highlight them here, but I will highlight this: if there's a negligible difference between the two, as evidenced by the ongoing debates and evidence for and against each side, I will go with the fact that I'd look less of a dork with a strap-on somehow attached to my head

  • @EpicFishFingers I'd rather look like a dork than die.

Please wear a helmet. I've personally seen a 10 year old boy die after falling from his bike, hitting his head on the curb.

He surely would have survived if he was wearing a helmet.

  • @axblake1 Why would he have surely lived? I've fallen off my bike more than once, and hit my head in the past. I'm fine.

Go to the cyclechat forums and debate about the issue on their subforum for it if you really want a debate. I can promise you that you won't be able to change my view on the issue in less than 500 characters. Likewise I'm aware I won't be able to change your view, but I'm not trying to. All I'm saying is that when you fall off a bike, it's rare to hit your head and die

  • @EpicFishFingers No, you're just kind of a dick. Whether or not he's telling the truth, who knows. But you can't say that people don't die all the time because they don't wear helmets, just because you've "fallen off my bike more than once, and hit my head in the past. I'm fine.". I'm all for having the option to wear a helmet or not, just know that if you choose not to you're not going to be as safe. That's a fact.

  • @0987zxcv0987 I didn't say that I was just as safe, and yeah, sure, I may have been acting a bit entitled, but its my decision not to wear a helmet, as it is bedovelo's (or whoever the guy in the vid was, I dunno how to type his name). I don't preach to you guys "hurr don't wear a helmet". Admittedly, aside from the effort of carrying it around, the cost of the thing, the arguable ineffectiveness, and the fact you look like a tool, there isn't a reason not to wear one, but each to their own.

  • @EpicFishFingers Arguable ineffectiveness? I'm done conversing with someone who wont accept the obvious truth because they don't want to "look like a tool". Good bye.

  • @0987zxcv0987 Good, as I stated, I never wanted an argument

  • @EpicFishFingers Also I don't really see how I'm being a dick compared to the other guy when I respect his reasons for wearing a helmet but just choose not to. Unlike axblade1 I'm not posting on vids saying that helmets are ineffective and it's pointless to wear one, I'm keeping my opinions to myself. I was also trying to point out that helmets may not be as effective as the guy may think they are (check cyclechat for the debate forum). I don't want a debate. But I got one, so I guess I'm a dick

  • the handlebars look way to low...

  • First? Not quite.

Sturmey-Archer already makes fixed-gear hubs with multiple internal gears, and they include a shifter, so you don't have to try to smack a button on the crank while you pedal.

  • Dude, your name is Beat. I want MY name to be Beat.

  • "Oh, how we consumers want it all: vintage, yet reliable. Simple, yet modern. Fixed, yet geared. One speed for the fast, another for to make with the tricking. It's fascinating to see how desperately some people will cling to the notion of a fixed-gear despite their clear need and desire for qualities that fixed-gears simply don't have, and to see how ridiculous the bikes become in the process. They want to be riding regular geared bikes but they just can't let go."- BIKE SNOB NYC

  • @Killroy1999 maybe "they" like the feeling of riding a fixed bike but like to have a second gear? Maybe two gears is just enough? maybe you dont know what you are talking about?

  • I thought belt drives were supposed to be silent?

  • Big Up Mr Inn-Venta! Nice work bro :)

  • Superb!

  • Who knows where this will lead. One day we will have bikes with 20 or even 30 speeds!

  • Good to see some new developments in this area.

  • Best thing invented in Switzerland since swiss cheese.

  • i want this setup, just because he has a cool accent

  • So fucking awesome

  • The gear change is really easy and comfortable. (I have a SpeedDrive, but not a Fixie) You can use additional covers for the cranks, so the whole crank can be used to shift.

  • I'm kinda duck footed, I think i'd be shifting every half crank revolution.

  • Total want.

  • Nicely done! :)

  • Pädovelo?
