I can't believe you can't find this one...actually this album is pretty easy to find!! i saw many copies of Compas Kum'pas in used records shops in London when i lived there (2004) - but if you want to find a copy withouth troubles, you can go on their discogs page and you'll find so many copies (and with a little extra money, you can buy a close to new copy) - or you can order the recent reissue on Medical Records - which is remastered and 180gr. - discogs doesn't mention any reissues on cd...
Thanks a lot for posting this. I've got the original album, bought new around '81, I think. It was my first exposure to a lot of those bands (including this one). Those were great times, amazing times really.
I found ths album 20 years ago and then after I moved 5 years ago it vanished. From some of the comments i've read I guess i'd be up shit creek if I tried to find it on cd.
I got the lp in 1981 and the song by Dalek i was on Through the back door. It was a compilation by mercury. The high numbers that was original band that the Who became was a mini 45 on the cover. I think album is on cd so look for it.
What a lovely song! I found their Compass album (inLP form) a Music & Video Exchange shop a long time ago; would love to buy some more of their stuff. If you google "dalek I love you", you should find their website - you can download their demo tracks as MP3s.
I recently listened the song as single, plus songs "Happy" and "My Uniform", and all that stuff is good. Dave Hughes is a cool synth player. He provided soundtrack for "Awaydays". Dalek reunion? an utopia? he was contacting different post-punk figures, and i can't doubt if he find Alan Gill (an underrated guitarist for me).
Once all they were avant garde. Today are still determinating trends. They were great, they are still great (all the new romantic and techno pop bands)

I used to have this LP back in the early 80s. Someone 'borrowed' it after a house party. Such a great compilation but I can't find it anywhere :(

Incredible, who from those 176 comments remind this wonderful compilation...
This is science fiction music from beyond eighties... Rare talents losed in the broad production of electronics musics
