Boom Theory Space Muffins - Drainage demo

How is the "stick noise" w/ the boom theory drums? Just wondering how much louder they are than mesh heads. Sounds very very good though.

@telengardo Stick noise is quite substantial i'm afraid. They're not made to sound quiet, but to play as 'acoustic' as possible.

@drainagemusic Thanks for the response. One thing I'm frustrated with on my mesh pads is that they don't pick up very light hits or hits near the bearing edge. How well do the spacemuffins do in this area?

I want this kit with the TD-20! Excellent playing! Sensitvity and dynamics are sweet! Describe to me the trigger under the the skin, is it like a foam cone or pad? And does the sensor wear out, and much to replace.

These are similiar to ret percussions

I have had 2 Spacemuffins kits...Triggered Ddrum3 and Ddrum4 brains... I played quite a few gigs live with them - great stuff!!!!
