This is the reason I love the American Pit Bull Terrier!! They are half the size of this dog yet can pull almost 3 times more!! American bulldogs are still nice though, big and intimidating but a pitbull has a bigger heart for sure.

Always depends on the track. Malice can pull 3 times more on a smother track also.

@BullPullKennels Ah carpet has more grip than a smooth track don't you mean? The scott bulldogs are the only dogs capable of competing with pitbulls, I don't think I've ever seen a johnson pull as much as a scott. Also the record in weight pull is held by a pitbull which tells a lot about this small dog.

Start off slowly and add weight slowly each week. You don't want to rush them to fast it will make them not like it.
