I'm probably announcing this at the wrong rally but here goes! That high choral-like vocal at 3.44 was sampled and used in a happy hardcore rave track along with a Flava Flav rap sample. 'We can do this: Who done it?/Crashmatt' was regularly mixed by a number of hardcore/techno DJs in the early 90s such as Brisk and DJ Dougal. It was one of my favourites. The track is on Youtube - have a listen (with headphones on and volume down)! Big-up the Pet Shop Boys!

Love Comes Quickly is probably one of the more under-appreciated PSB songs and song of the era in general. It challenges the listener to question the major distractions in life we so eagerly buy into--study, work, the trappings of wealth, escapism, etc.--and reminds us that we all need to love and be loved no matter how hard and desperately we try to ignore the fact.

You can fly away to the end of the world but where does it get you?

I can tell you..I've got a very wide taste in music (still synthpop being my favourite kind of music since I've been musically raised between the keys since I was a synth player in my teens) but no song from my imense library of more than a 10000 songs touches me deeply inside as this one.

The harmony is unique, it's utterly beautifull and the lyrics so honest and truthfull....all delivered with Neill unique voice.
