Rachael Lampa won a National Christian singing competition (Praise in The Rockies) when she was 14 (1999). Stacie Orrico won the year before she did. They both got record deals for winning the competition. And both their albums came out early summer 2000, before J-Ho's. check b4 comparing Rachael w/anyone!

Eh, their first albums both came out just a year apart, i don't think there is too much imitation of J Lo going on.

J Lo and Lampa in terms of image were just imitating 90's pop, except that Lampa is many times more talented than J Lo as a singer and doesn't need pro-tools.

As for whether it's consistent with Christianity, until i see actual verses that oppose it i'm not interested in some person's personal preferences that they want to make Divine law.

Okay,so I read a comment about dance moves and look at me look at me instead of God. Dancing and making videos that are appealing to teens isn't bad.
