Good for you,more than enough to run the game, you are bottlenecking your dual HD 6990 with that hexa core phenom tho, and your graphics card has only effective memory of 2GB, since in crossfire and dual GPU, they never add up(each GPU is mirrored up to 2GB).

Btw, how do you have 12GB of ram? three sticks of 4GB? you running on single channel instead of dual channel then?

Serious Sam [The First and Second Encounters] are some of the best PC games that where EVER MADE. The soundtrack too - especially in the First Encounter is breeathtaking {especially the music where Sam first Materalizes in the First Encounter, in Egypt. I would urge anyone who has not got both the First and Second Encounters,to GET THEM! The Bulls, and those gian red robot/type creatures are FRIGHTENING! Hahaha.

The game has plenty of settings to fiddle with to make the game playable on most systems. Your CPU is good but you need to tone down the GPU settings in the game to make it playable on that 8500GT
