  • It might not be that she was bored. Her "face rub" might have been a form of autistic "stimming", where she was trying to re-focus her senses.

  • @wilb6657 I didn't know there was a name for this. I do it all the time when there is a lot going on and I'm anxious. I try to drown out the sound of a crowd, or trying to ignore lights, or when a professor just goes on and on and I zone out. Thanks for the comment.
