I have no doubt that Dr Davis is a fine oncologist. But the "cancer" on this country is not going to be eradicated by short-sighted, unsustainable measures like increased domestic drilling. Any slight benefit will certainly not be immediate, and the amount that our own reserves could contribute to our total consumption is paltry. Tim Walz is for a compreshensive energy plan that includes increased investment in renewable energy sources, as well as, new drilling. And as far as Tim taking a summer vacation, I know that there is no harder working member of Congress than Tim.
Buy a horse if you don't want to pay for high gas prices, high gas price is good, it will make people go carpooling and reduce pollution. 80% or more are in a car alone, that is ridiculous !
