This anime is called The Sky Crawlers. I just finished it and I am telling you all that it's very, very depressing. It's probably the most depressing anime I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few.

omgah!! I just watched it 2 days ago and it was depressing lol.

But I can definetly see a lot of things in the movie which reminded me of Ghost in the Shell, the philosophical logic from G.I.T.S was there for sure, and the animation looked like the animators of GITS teamed up with the crew of "Last Exile"

ahh, alot of people didnt like this movie cause they thought it was pointless, but thats why i liked it. i figure that not every one has a reason to live. like, some people are just here, they live and then they die. its sad, but true. & thats the kinda vibe i got from this. so, i liked the movie alot. & you did great with this amv. ive been waiting for someone to make a good one since the day this movie came out!! so, thanks.

Ah, Sky Crawlers. Indeed the animation was superb, but I found the story very slow moving, and couldn't finish it because of that. ^^;; It storyline seemed too close to Flyboys (which I loved) and I wasn't happy to see that it copied a lot of aspects. But yes, the animation was amazing. xD;;

hahaha, wow my thoughts exactly, as a matter of fact i watch the whole movie in 3 part in the course of 8 days since it was so slow, was like ok Oh new bleach ep..... But i felt my short review on the movie was already negative enough and didn't add everything i felt about it, I mean many ppl may really like it, but in a nut shell its the jap version of Flyboys, just slower. But well it was good in the end for AMV use XD even though i wasn't to found of it.
