@ottodavisify you are thinking too hard about this. it's just my opinion. my definition of acting: portraying something that you wouldn't normally do, but have secretly always wanted to do, but can't find a way to do it without being reticuled, so you turn to acting. why do you think people do acting? it's to fill a void that they couldn't fill before.

Many actors take a role simply because it pays great and they're filling a void that way. I Was afraid to watch this movie at first because I read some comments or reviews about some people who never saw Rob the same after this film but I watched it and it was not as bad as I thought. It only made me admire Rob more as an actor. And i think he deserved an award for his performance. He is truly a very talented actor. Someone once told me it takes a very secure man to play a role like that. I believe that now more than ever.

If somebody becomes gay simply because they had to act gay....they were already gay to begin with. I've played a thug who's killed in a play and I've never killed anyone nor do I have the urge to do so. It's called 'acting' for a reason. This may sound a little bit misplaced, but... My dear god, this is so "hot".

I've only seen glimpses of the movie, but to me it actually seemed like Robert Pattinson had taken THIS role far more serious than at any time being Edward in Twilight. It has far more emotion and ACTUAL tension in here - I do have goose pimples on my arm! He sure can be a great actor and I highly appreciate him doing such a great role like Salvador Dalí; this is just gorgeous!
