@antbratt My most sentimental feeling doll is my first CPK I got at age ten. She is the single ponied tail chocolate ponie. She has blue eyes and a red dress set.
When I first started pointe prep when I was 8 I remember my first cpk Loren Nina sat in the studio and watched, she came to acro jazz tap hiphop contemporary lyrical and a whole bunch of competitions till I was 10 she helped alot.
@live2dance72 I forgot to mention with the permanent marker put the zit stuff Clearisil on the marker rather thickly and then set the baby out in direct sunlight. Wash it off everyday and you will notice it lightening. Keep applying and doing the same thing until the mark disappears
I love cpk's too! I got my first when I was 7 now I'm 12 with 11 of them! My 2newest (and my first yarn haired ones) are name Alexie and Gabby. Gabby got her name from the saying Cabby!
wow,, i adored my first cabbage-patch kid she looks just like ur first,, cool! i can still remember her name too,, it was DIANA,, an she was the sweetest lil darlin,,, an its true our dolls can comfort us as children, my cousin who is a man now,, adored his care bear for yrs,, every one loves to be loved, weather their male female cat or dog,, who doesn't want love an connection?,,, anyways cool vid!*)
Nice video. I'm also a fan of the CPKs. They are my little companions & have been since the '80s. I got to meet Xavier Roberts & get my picture taken with him at the Magic Crystal Valley's 25th birthday party for the CPKs in October 2008. It was great!
They still do Spring Event every year, as a matter of fact it's next week. I'm thinking of driving over there to hang out with the collectors and look at maybe begettuing another floor baby
Where? At Magic Crystal Valley in Maryland? I know that they have a summer event but that is in August. I live in Washington, DC so I am not too far from Magic Crystal Valley.
I'm going to Atlanta the weekend of May 16 for an event with some friends, but I plan to visit Babyland General then. I haven't been to Babyland General in 10 years or so. I wonder if I will be getting to take a new "lap child" on the plane trip home.
tAYLORRRR!!! Its Jyllian (((huggz)))) i found this video accidentlly and i am so glad i did ..I find it very intereting arent cpks the best ??? how many do you have now??
I'm sorry you have been abused as well. :( I do remember the Garbage Pail Kids and I collected those as well. LOL But I don't have them anymore. I tell ya the CPK's are the most durable everlasting toy ever made. They just don't make toys these days like they used to. I'm loving the 25'th anniversary version though. It makes going to Walmart much more enjoyable knowing I can go on a CPK hunt!! Look at my fav videos and check out the top one. Back in '83 people threw riots to get one!!

Cabbage Patch Kids break down all the barriers of the male, female stereotypical toys. They are born for all sexes.
