I have completed this game two times now :). I love when you have completed the game the first time, and you get 200.000 credits and 50.000 of each other items/money.
Read that the first 10 minutes are when Shepard dies.
The Normandy is being attacked by a unkown ship,then all the crew is being evacuated, but Shepard is the last one....After Shepard ecapes on the scape pod, he starts to asphyxiate until he dies.
Then Cerberus finds his body and the Ilusive Man spend 4 billion credits to revive you,the experiment was named Lazarus Project.
I bet near the beginning of the game the Normandy gets attacked, making everyone think you went down with the ship, but really cerberus saves you. I read somewhere that early on in the game Shepard under goes massive surgery, leaving him with scars that fester or heal depending on Paragon/Renegade points, the fact that he almost dies would explain the surgery.
they also had the girl that thane killed saying something about shepard was "supposed to be dead" my that is the part where you have to swap discs at now that they said the game is shipping on 2 discs... cliffhanger. this game looks so awesome. i just watched star trek (the new one) and the entire time i got the craving to play mass effect.
Here's how the disk swap will work: First disk you go on the missions to assemble your team. Then you swap and go on the actual missions. That's how I think it will work, anyway.
That wasn't a spoiler! I mean cmon you can watch the original trailer and know the Normandy gets destroyed. The fact that he said "You see Shepard die" makes you think that this is one of the first if not the first scene in the entire game due to the fact that the Asari asks "I thought you were dead?" and Garrus also says he's surprised you're alive. Not really a spoiler unless you're not interested in the game at all and do no research at all.
Absolutely nothing in this video is something we haven't already known. It was really nice to see it put to video but no one can complain that this is the source of spoilers.
Also Bioware has been clear that if your Shepard is going to die it will not be a surprise and it will not be sudden. You will know for quite a while in the game that your character is certainly going to die.

And as for the spoiler, yes it's big but if you didn't know and it just randomly happened on your playthrough of ME2, I would imagine you would be like WTF.

Yeah, that was confirmed as Liara. Her role in that scene can also be replaced by Ashley or Kaidan, if you chose them as your love interest.

That isn't the new MAKO. A dev on Bioware's forums confirmed as much. It's probably just a crashed vehicle like you would sometimes find in ME.

Looks to be in prime condition for something that's crashed.
I agree it isn't a new driveable vehicle, I think it's a shuttle used for planets that don't really require you to have a vehicle
