One of the many things I love about Matt Smith is how he always gives credit to others. In this case, he credits Steven Moffat. He could have said, "I was pestering Moffat to wear a hat," but he prefaced it by giving all the credit to Moffat. In other interviews, he gives credit to other people. I love his portrayal of the Doctor and hope he sticks around several more years.
