4:57 that's how the glissando is supposed to be played. So many pianists like Yuja Wang look ridiculous trying to articulate that passage. It's supposed to add to the dynamics and the characteristics of a rhapsody. Bravo, Mr. Hough!
@MrYou2ber Thanks for pointing that out, it's almost impossible to just "stop" the gliss on the octave As, without slowing down comically. The way he does it here, I will have to try so I can actually have a clean ending.

fantastic performance, but the commentator soured the end for me =/ what an odd voice. perhaps i'm just accustomed to american hosts.
