what is that guitar you have?

@sunnyjim98 It's a stock Aria Pro ZZ series guitar, circa 1982. Pickups are either Aria Protomatic-V or Aria Hotblades (no clue which ones). Neck is from Charvel, same co in San Dimas where Ed got his parts (they're part of Fender now). I installed an original Floyd Rose, re-soldered everything, ran a ground to the Floyd to get rid of the hum (sound changed for the better). Had to rig the neck to make it fit. It shifts all the time and I have to 'bump' it back in tune. LOL!

to all the people asking about Dimes tuning. Heres the deal. He always tuned 40 cents above the tuning he was in. So if you are in drop D. add 40 cents on the tuner. If the needle should be in the middle of the tuner at the 12 o'clock poistion it will be 2 lines above the middle. Hard to explain but if you are trying to play along with the album youll realize right away it sounds off. This is a perfect tutorial by the way brotha couldnt have been much better. Just clearing up the tuning

yo def got the wrong tunning for this song the e string is not saposed to be in D just a word of advice when ur palm mutes sound out of key with the riff it sounds like dookie
