I have to admit, i applaud Randy for starting his ownership in the trucks instead of the Cup series cause so many start in Cup and fail. Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach, i think Dan Marino had a car in the late 90's as well.

I remember when Mike Skinner went to the Nascar sprint cup like early 2000s and did farely well... then when he went back to Trucks, Jimmy Johnson took over the Lowe's car, and i was like "who the hell is Jimmy Johnson?" ... little did i know that JJ would become one of the best ever!

@masteropuppetz66 I remember going to a race in Fontana with his late nephew in April of '01, we're talking Winston Cup here....and when I get into the car, a Lowe's commercial comes on the radio supporting some misc. motorcross guy they sponser. On race day! Winston Cup Race Day.....all i could think was...WTF? Jimmy Johnson's driving is not so impressive. He's fast and up until a few months ago, I thought would put his own mother in a wall for a win but that's about it.
