I'm lookin to lose fat and on top of that, build muscle. I just wanna look toned and not look chubby or chunky anymore. I'm an athelete, but even with that, it's hard for me to lose weight.
Also, I don't have time to each breakfast usually until like 10 am, so would you suggest that I just grab a piece of fruit or something and eat it while I'm in class until I have my next meal? ALSO!! I REALLY THINK YOU SHOULD DO A VIDEO ON EATING HEALTHY WHILE IN COLLEGE. I personally have a meal plan at school so I need to eat at the cafeteria some times, and it can be really hard to eat healthy in there. What do you suggest???
Does a banana count as a meal/snack? You say eat lean protein at every meal? And you say eat either 6-8 small meals a day or 5-7 small meals a day, so how much do you eat at each of those meals, amount wise? Like at each small meal do I really have to have a lean protein, 6-8 times a day? Or can one of those 6-8 meals just be a piece of fruit or something.
Eating fruit really helps too because it is so full of water and disgests very fast especially on an empty stomach and gives your brian sugar right away

That's 5 meals and should be plenty. Plus it's easy to implement as you're just having workout meals on top of the norm
Thanx for the 411, but 'um...I can't eat 5-6 times a day. I just don't have the appetite to do so. Up until last week, I would usually eat breakfast & dinner. Up until a couple of years ago, I did'nt eat breakfast at all. Currently, I'm drinking green (fruit & vegetable) juice w/psyllium fiber, for breakfast & lunch then dinner. Yeah I'm overweight but I have been losing weight slooowly 'cause I don't exercise like I should.

I lost more weight when I started drinking just water. I left the crystal light alone and it really worked. I am actually eating smaller meals through out the day and it is working too. @mzsupra87 Breakfast-one boiled egg, toast, 2 turkey sausage links, fruit with lite whipped cream, then lunch would be like turkey sandwich w light mayo, onions, tomotoes, lettuce, A salad with vegetables, and more fruit. then you would have a snack..then comes dinner...sirloin steak, potatoes, vegetables, A salad, and fruit. then you can have another snack like plain popcorn...the key is to eat every 3hrs and you won't feel hungry. fitness is sticking food your mouth when your not hungry. lol
