it doens't take all that much. get a new video card and buy some more ram and you should be able to run it smooth. I have lots of outdated tech but I ran this game with 2GB of RAM really good. You just have the lower the settings a bit. (I still don't know why lowering settings made the shadows black blobs scattered across outdoor areas. It looks hideous but I deal with it)
I just hope that EA wont fuck this game up like they did with Warhammer online. i find it so damn bugged in almost everything. I LOVE THIS! I love the fact that they put a 'single player' kind of feel into a massive MMO. I'm a big Mass Effect fan, love the game, and it really seems to be like a Mass Effect in MMO format (very eufimised ofcourse). Love it. Not some boring ass grinding (sure there are some grinding quests) but things like this make it awesome.
Why are there so many comments regarding World of warcraft? I played that game for 2 years and quit it a year ago due to the immature and mean community. For those who question the graphics: MMORPG developpers want to sell many copies of their game. Most customers have regular/standard PC's. This means that the developpers must limit the graphics because otherwise they won't sell much

@funkymunky6996 They're not making KoTOR3. TOR has a unique story for every class, so it's essentially KoTOR 3-11.
Bioware is making it MMO because they want a real Star Wars-y feel, rather than single player only. Previously, they didn't have Blizzard as competition because Bioware games were a different genre (i.e. single-player). It's not the idea of making an MMO that will compete with WoW, AION, and Rift, etc. It's the fact that they're revolutionizing the genre.

@rainbowNickk actually, the graphic problem doesn't have anything to do with individual PC's, rather the technology issues. You cannot, at the present day, have an MMO with, say, Mass Effect graphics, because it would be unsustainable server wise. Other than that, you're right :)

For those who question the graphics: MMORPG developpers want to sell many copies of their game. Most customers have regular/standard PC's. This means that the developpers must limit the graphics because otherwise they won't sell much

If they don't make a Kotor 3 I'm going to be pissed off. This looks alright but Kotor 1 & 2 are some of the best games I have ever played. It makes me think there doing this just to compete with games like WOW

@funkymunky6996 They're not making KoTOR3. TOR has a unique story for every class, so it's essentially KoTOR 3-11.
Bioware is making it MMO because they want a real Star Wars-y feel, rather than single player only. Previously, they didn't have Blizzard as competition because Bioware games were a different genre (i.e. single-player). It's not the idea of making an MMO that will compete with WoW, AION, and Rift, etc. It's the fact that they're revolutionizing the genre.
