  • maui warriors??

  • It makes me sad know the end of The Lord of the Rings :'(

  • The Lord of the Rings are the best movies ever!

  • And Thank God they get to all go back and do it again in The Hobbit :')

  • @tommyridges Dont forget that after The Hobbit, they're making another movie :D

  • @Rockoutloud345 Yeah, part 2 of the hobbit...

  • Best movies ever

  • for froto

  • ;(

  • No wonder the films came out so good... they poured everything they had into them.

  • Danke für das Hochladen, äußerst interessant,

    greetings

  • I just cried when I saw this video. It's so touching end emotional...

  • 2:30 little old man warrior in the tribal dance! X) I love him

  • greatest film of all time!

  • awesomeness !loved the hakka!

  • I love this movie but in the end I was sad and felt the pain of the actors to stop filming, I knew this was the end for them, their friendship has been developing like no one ever knows. WISH I WAS THERE, WISH I WAS ONE OF THE ACTORS :(

  • its not over yet the hobbit is coming thumbs up if your glad

  • It's not just a movie anymore. The lord of the rings has become a part of human history. It's the symbol for dreams, fantasies and creativity. It stands for the ability to create something beautiful, something good.

  • @rafahenara

book! book man! Lord of the Rings is first and foremost a book trilogy, and the movies shook the world by capturing less than a tenth of the brilliance of the books. Those books redefined our culture before you were born. The movies just let the world dream that dream together once more.

  • The hug of Peter and Elijah reminds me of me and my father :')

  • love it.

  • From what I've seen and heard of Viggo from the behind the scenes features, he really was a trooper and a hero. He deserves it

  • Look, there's only one Return, ok? And it ain't of the King, it's of the Jedi.

  • @TheRealThreeP No, it's just 'The Return Of The King'... The Jedi sucks :p

  • @MrBRFB Never seen 'The Return Of The Jedi' acctualy xD

  • This just gives me this feeling in my throat:/ Definitely the best movie ever, everything else is trash compared to the ending of LOTR.

  • Lle ume quel (elvish for you did well) J.R.R tolkien :")

  • stupid dust got into my eyes---

  • WHO THE FUCK KEEPS COUGHING?!

  • i am 15 and i was absolutley in tears watching this :'( <3 i love them so much. i am an actor, and i know how the goodbye can feel at the end. but i cant imagine what it would be like for something as amazing as lotr

  • :') *sniff*

  • 2:14 Yeah, the ring is in the house :-)

  • It was emotional for us at home, i can't imagine what it was like for those who made it their lives for god knows how many years

  • this was apart of my childhood i remeber being little and prettending to be aragorn swinging a stick pretending i was slaying the troll or sauron or even saruman but sadly i grew up and now those days are just something that i keep close to my heart

  • This brought me to tears.... I'm a senior in high school right now and in 6 months on june 27 or 28 will be that "last shot with Frodo" scene =,( And this trilogy has been my favorite for like forever.

  • Cool...

  • 6:50 "thank you so much...you've made me so rich"

  • Everyone loves Frodo!

    Hail the King Aragorn!

  • My favorite movie indeed!

There is other story like it!

  • por eso fue una gran pelicula por q los actores pucieron sus centimientos en ella son de las pocas peliculas q vale tener la coleccion especial y viva la comarca por xiempre

  • All those who wander are not lost

  • I cried at the end of the last movie, I didn't want it to end, I wanted to see more of everything, but it was such a huge impact on me. And after watching this and crying again, I realise I'm not the only one. It was, by far, the best movie trilogy I have ever watched in my life. Great job Peter, and everyone who acted in this movie, because it is such a wonderful, amazing and sad story and the quality of acting put in it is beyond measurable! :'')

  • @iWolfrost lol you didnt even mention Tolkien in your speech. Read the books and you will know a lot more

  • @iWolfrost Qapla!

  • was this in the extras?

I have the special extended edition but i havent seen this

  • This trilogy was and will remain among the best of the best. Everytime I watch these movies, I miss all the friends I grew up with whom I would talk to all the time about these movies. Now those conversations will only be a memory. Long live The Lord of the Rings!

  • I actually cried at the end of this. DDD:

This is why I wouldn't want anyone else but Jackson doing The Hobbit.

  • aaaaaawwwwww

  • I started to cry when Elijah hugged Peter.

  • estaria mejor si estuviera traducido al español...

  • I don't care how far along technology improves in the future, and thereby making it possible for better special effects. This will always be the best adaptation of Tolkien's work. I won't front, I cried watching this. I grew up with this shit.

For me, nothing will -ever- come close.

  • @pludel

Same here. Except that The Hobbit is going to same category =)

  • this movie is so brilliant the cast even will miss making it for us

  • i miss the fatt peter

  • 2 people were frightened by this 3:01

  • i wish so much that i had been old enough at that time and had shared this experience because Lord of the rings my favourite movie of all time nothing could beat it and it would've been amazing if i were part of the making. I wouldn't have been able to keep the tears back, imagine how the main characters had felt.

  • it really does feel like we're all going off to the grey havens, peter. even eight years later...

  • I love how the grey havens theme is fitting for the moment when the last scene ends and they hug.

  • so bernard takes over.. FORTH EOLINGAS! ALl hail Theoden King!

  • is peter crying at 6:18?

  • MANLY TEARS.

  • if there was one thing in the world, and one thing only, it would be the trilogy, it will be the only thing that brings tears of joy

  • The world needs more directors like Peter :)

  • you know what i just noticed, there were no black people in lotr lol

  • @XKarateKatX I'm pretty sure some of the orcs were black. Then again there arent that many africans in NZ to begin with.

  • 6:20 - 6:54 ...

    ...

    ...

    :_-(

  • a role of a lifetime.

  • Thay should just re-maike with the same cast and crew, hahahahaha

  • And the best part is, that wasn't the end. They became reunited for 1 last project, The Hobbit.

  • This is why I want to be a filmmaker

  • whats that ritual called?

  • @hitlersson666 it's called Haka

  • It's a good thing they didn't film chronologically, or they would have all died of sadness at the grey havens scene.

  • I teared up myself for goodness sake :')

  • @FanofLordoftheRings ah, take cheer my good fellow, for a further 2 films are afoot! have you ever had the chance to read "the hobbit". This great tale precedes the 3 books/films and the Wonderful Peter Jackson is now transferring this great novel into Film formate. Indeed twill be a glorious day when we can sit in our Hobbit holes and watch the 5 films back to back. But until that great day comes, rejoice in the knowledge that once again this Epic saga shall once again grace our cinema screens

  • @truthfullcomentator I CANT FUCKING WAIT !!!!!

  • When i was 5 years old me my brother and my dad bought the first movie the day it came out. Ever since that day i have watched the movies over and over and cried every time. Didn´t want it to end. Now i´m 15 and i think the same today. Best movies i´ve ever seen. Never gonna get tired of them!

  • Sauron and Saruman disliked this video.....

  • @hazza3 Hahahahahahhahaha <3

  • @hazza3

    LOL!

  • @hazza3 they don't have pc's

  • @hazza3 xD

  • @hazza3 u forgot lurts the urk hai's general

  • @hazza3 And wormtail

  • i m just amased because, its like the actors really felt like they lived in that story, and that they identified themselves with the characters , and when i was around 12 years old, i myself soo wanted that LOTR world to be real and not just a book or a movie, its like i wanted to be there and be part of the adventure. if i would have seen this when i was 12 i think i would have been like GOOODDD so affective

  • im so crying right now

    this is beautiful

i bet the 2 dislikes are the HP fans hatin that LOTR was like a family

  • Who is so sad to dislike this????

I really don't understand some of you.

    A well, :P

  • Who is so sad to dislike this????

I really don't understand some of you.

    A well, :P

  • I just realized that the last LOR movie was in 2003 , my life is going by so fast :'(

  • @Imbarcelona1 Woah, did not realize that, goodness.

  • @xxxgangstagurl15xxx actually your wrong, but right at the same time. Tolkien was gonna make a book called The New Shadow which is an incomplete sequel to LOTR. he died before he could finish it though and he also abandoned it. So next time do your research before you call anyone out next time.

  • Lord of the Rings..an amazing journey to live through i cried when he said cut i think this movie touches alot of people its pure cant wait to go to the Grey Heavens (: <33

  • now peter is skinny i bet his hugs are crap

  • @Mole1992 he's actually gaining the weight back. stress from filming I guess

  • @sixpointneuf hopefully the cast can expect some decent hugs when filming is finished then!

  • when they started clapping at the end i was clapping too.

  • I will miss when i used to sit on the couch and pull out all 3 movies and watch them with the deleted scenes all loud and all dark with a giant tv. I wish they made more movies than 3 and i wish they made more books because LOTR changed child hood lives. So many good memories and so many good times waching these movies. i dont blame any actors being emotional after filming this because if i were acting in this movie, i wouldnt want it to end.

  • @KsXKillShots :,)

  • @KsXKillShots you have the hobbit 1 and 2 to look forward to now :)))

  • @audun0905 true :)

  • @KsXKillShots theres always the hobbit, and the mysterious "second" movie AFTER the Hobbit, one starring Saruman and the istary order

  • @TheRevan1337 - I don't think that's going to be the case, they're going to, just like LOTR, to divide the story into (not three, but) two movies, and you can already see it in the titles, the first one is called "An Unexpected Journey" and the second one, "There And Back Again", and according to Guillermo Del Toro, who was initially set to direct, said there is a very obvious place in the book where the story sort of ends and begins in another way.. prob the Beorn/Mirkwood-area

  • @DemiathDoomhammer but the actor that played Saruman said himself that he was going to be in one in a interview, its on youtube

  • @KsXKillShots Sorry, but if you want more of the story, pick up The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, The Books of Lost Tales, The Lays of Beleriand, etc. Lots of other material there, without killing the work that JRRT did.

  • i will miss this time :,(

  • *sobs uncontrollably*

  • @akon19999 The Hobbit is coming

  • poor cougher at the end, he had to hold his cough till Peter Jackson is satisfied with the final cut

  • @akon19999 dude there is no fourth story for the lord of the rings; there was only 3 novels written. The Ring is destroyed and peace was availed. Why should there be a fourth story?? even if there is, why should it be called The Lord of the Rings??? the ring is destroyed.

No offence, but you need to think rationally

  • do't worry! They've still got The Hobbit!!!!

  • this is even more sad than watching the end of the last movie. WHO THE FUCK DISLIKED IT?!

  • waaaah this makes me sad :'(

  • smeagol actor has muscles

  • @akon19999 they've been filming the hobbit since 2009 its coming out next year :)

  • @akon19999 DUDE Y WOULD THEY DO A 4TH, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE LOTR BUT TOLKIEN DID 3 BOOKS, B HAPPY THERE MAKING THE HOBBIT

  • ive seen lotr rotk 50k times nd i cry like every time

  • we begin with frodo and end with frodo

the lord of the rings end with samwise and rosie

  • aww, elijah is the sweetest person ever

  • Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

  • *Sobs*

  • sad edning why what happened? i am from EU so pleas explain

  • omg! now im so sad all over again :(:( I never wanted LOTR to end either. Fortunately the hobbit is coming out soon now. but omg, I miss LOTR!!

  • It was Dom's sort of narration that did it for me.

  • Fortunately there are no dislikes...

Because if they were, it would be my duty to actually MURDER these people :-D

    Nice video.

  • I saw Harry Potter "8" this week in cinema. And as I saw the end, I only remember how epic, sad and wonderful the end of LOtR was. I remember the music, the last scened with the characters and how they showed the pictures in the credits. This was a really good ending. And the end of HP was so short and not really sad. I love HP, but I wish the end would be so beautiful like it was in Lotr.

  • This is a beautiful video, a beautiful soundtrack and a beautiful film. It is so touching to see how much this trilogy of awesome films meant to them. I hope one day to be part of something like this with a talented and amazing bunch of people like that.

  • lived in nz for 4 years saw my share of hakas to

  • Woww harry potter cant eat this epic final of the lord of the rings because at the final theres happiness in lotr movies they show you that dont matter how big you are or what streanght are you because Sam and FRODO DESTROY THE RING and am just gonna tell that the final was the best and is the best saga ever

  • i loved these movies

and i love seeing the behind the scenes clips

    so emotional!!

    <3

  • This is why the lord of the rings trilogy was, and still are so good. The people who made these movies considered it to be beyond a simple film, or their own jobs, they saw it as the opportunity to make something truly great, and they did.

  • 3 years, resumend in 9 hours...

in those 3 years there are so much to tell (unknown to the public)

thats why the crew members and other people making LOTR were so lucky

  • Any one else notice the really old guy around 2:30 in the middle of all the buff stunt guys?

  • this made me cry so much that my bed is a ocean now

  • 6:35 I want the head of that coughing b*tch

  • OMG I just cried D: I can't imagine how it must feel to end that project after living with it everyday for 4 years D: ;_____;

  • Viggo's work ethic just totally amazes me (extra horse hours to develop a bond with the horse that's believable, sword fighting work, traveling to locations to appear more travel-worn on a shoot, etc). It's also interesting to me that his role as king in the film mirrored his relationships with the cast. Everyone liked him and respected him sooo much... he's really an amazing guy. How many actors can garner a whole stunt team's respect? Amazing!

  • was the bag end shot the last ever shot for the movie, or just elijah's last scene?

  • who was the last person they show elijah hugging?

  • When the last movie ended my life was never the same :( best Tale ever!

  • 3 parts more than 12 months of works more than movie

Love it and i wait for the Hobbit

  • *Bawling!!!*

  • The only thing genuine about fiction is the depth of emotion the makers and actors put into it, it comes out strongly in the characters. Makes us care what happens to them.

  • naaaawwww billy and dom at 6:30 :')

  • It just shows how important whole "LOTR thing" was for them

    beautiful :)

  • @Szlafroq and the world :)

  • what a beautiful ending

    ah i have no words

  • @unumrana it really was beautiful, a few tears did fall down my face while watching it, i loved it.

  • Beautiful movies ;)
