I love this movie but in the end I was sad and felt the pain of the actors to stop filming, I knew this was the end for them, their friendship has been developing like no one ever knows. WISH I WAS THERE, WISH I WAS ONE OF THE ACTORS :(
It's not just a movie anymore. The lord of the rings has become a part of human history. It's the symbol for dreams, fantasies and creativity. It stands for the ability to create something beautiful, something good.
book! book man! Lord of the Rings is first and foremost a book trilogy, and the movies shook the world by capturing less than a tenth of the brilliance of the books. Those books redefined our culture before you were born. The movies just let the world dream that dream together once more.
i am 15 and i was absolutley in tears watching this :'( <3 i love them so much. i am an actor, and i know how the goodbye can feel at the end. but i cant imagine what it would be like for something as amazing as lotr
this was apart of my childhood i remeber being little and prettending to be aragorn swinging a stick pretending i was slaying the troll or sauron or even saruman but sadly i grew up and now those days are just something that i keep close to my heart
This brought me to tears.... I'm a senior in high school right now and in 6 months on june 27 or 28 will be that "last shot with Frodo" scene =,( And this trilogy has been my favorite for like forever.
por eso fue una gran pelicula por q los actores pucieron sus centimientos en ella son de las pocas peliculas q vale tener la coleccion especial y viva la comarca por xiempre
I cried at the end of the last movie, I didn't want it to end, I wanted to see more of everything, but it was such a huge impact on me. And after watching this and crying again, I realise I'm not the only one. It was, by far, the best movie trilogy I have ever watched in my life. Great job Peter, and everyone who acted in this movie, because it is such a wonderful, amazing and sad story and the quality of acting put in it is beyond measurable! :'')
This trilogy was and will remain among the best of the best. Everytime I watch these movies, I miss all the friends I grew up with whom I would talk to all the time about these movies. Now those conversations will only be a memory. Long live The Lord of the Rings!
I don't care how far along technology improves in the future, and thereby making it possible for better special effects. This will always be the best adaptation of Tolkien's work. I won't front, I cried watching this. I grew up with this shit.

i wish so much that i had been old enough at that time and had shared this experience because Lord of the rings my favourite movie of all time nothing could beat it and it would've been amazing if i were part of the making. I wouldn't have been able to keep the tears back, imagine how the main characters had felt.
@FanofLordoftheRings ah, take cheer my good fellow, for a further 2 films are afoot! have you ever had the chance to read "the hobbit". This great tale precedes the 3 books/films and the Wonderful Peter Jackson is now transferring this great novel into Film formate. Indeed twill be a glorious day when we can sit in our Hobbit holes and watch the 5 films back to back. But until that great day comes, rejoice in the knowledge that once again this Epic saga shall once again grace our cinema screens
When i was 5 years old me my brother and my dad bought the first movie the day it came out. Ever since that day i have watched the movies over and over and cried every time. Didn´t want it to end. Now i´m 15 and i think the same today. Best movies i´ve ever seen. Never gonna get tired of them!
i m just amased because, its like the actors really felt like they lived in that story, and that they identified themselves with the characters , and when i was around 12 years old, i myself soo wanted that LOTR world to be real and not just a book or a movie, its like i wanted to be there and be part of the adventure. if i would have seen this when i was 12 i think i would have been like GOOODDD so affective

Lord of the Rings..an amazing journey to live through i cried when he said cut i think this movie touches alot of people its pure cant wait to go to the Grey Heavens (: <33
I will miss when i used to sit on the couch and pull out all 3 movies and watch them with the deleted scenes all loud and all dark with a giant tv. I wish they made more movies than 3 and i wish they made more books because LOTR changed child hood lives. So many good memories and so many good times waching these movies. i dont blame any actors being emotional after filming this because if i were acting in this movie, i wouldnt want it to end.
@TheRevan1337 - I don't think that's going to be the case, they're going to, just like LOTR, to divide the story into (not three, but) two movies, and you can already see it in the titles, the first one is called "An Unexpected Journey" and the second one, "There And Back Again", and according to Guillermo Del Toro, who was initially set to direct, said there is a very obvious place in the book where the story sort of ends and begins in another way.. prob the Beorn/Mirkwood-area
@KsXKillShots Sorry, but if you want more of the story, pick up The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, The Books of Lost Tales, The Lays of Beleriand, etc. Lots of other material there, without killing the work that JRRT did.
@akon19999 dude there is no fourth story for the lord of the rings; there was only 3 novels written. The Ring is destroyed and peace was availed. Why should there be a fourth story?? even if there is, why should it be called The Lord of the Rings??? the ring is destroyed.
I saw Harry Potter "8" this week in cinema. And as I saw the end, I only remember how epic, sad and wonderful the end of LOtR was. I remember the music, the last scened with the characters and how they showed the pictures in the credits. This was a really good ending. And the end of HP was so short and not really sad. This is a beautiful video, a beautiful soundtrack and a beautiful film. It is so touching to see how much this trilogy of awesome films meant to them. I hope one day to be part of something like this with a talented and amazing bunch of people like that.
Woww harry potter cant eat this epic final of the lord of the rings because at the final theres happiness in lotr movies they show you that dont matter how big you are or what streanght are you because Sam and FRODO DESTROY THE RING and am just gonna tell that the final was the best and is the best saga ever

Viggo's work ethic just totally amazes me (extra horse hours to develop a bond with the horse that's believable, sword fighting work, traveling to locations to appear more travel-worn on a shoot, etc). It's also interesting to me that his role as king in the film mirrored his relationships with the cast. Everyone liked him and respected him sooo much... he's really an amazing guy. How many actors can garner a whole stunt team's respect? Amazing!
The only thing genuine about fiction is the depth of emotion the makers and actors put into it, it comes out strongly in the characters. Makes us care what happens to them.
