i think the modern sounding dimmu would be better without the keyboards, except for a few select times like Kings of the Carnival creation and other songs.
if hellhammer stayed for more time in the band you could eaven have a chance to see better things like the one here like he did in The Chosen Legacy solos in some live gigs and in The Seprentine Offering...
But still I Say "OMG" some times when i see barker drumming
Seriously... the end of the song is... I mean there's no word for it when you listen to it with you speakers turn really loud, or better seeing it live and headbanging without thinking to anything else.
erm its hard to say really, hellhammer is faster on the double bass but barker has incredibly fast arms i personally think nick is better, listen to the puritanical album and the in sorte diaboli album and decide for yourself
this is the ugly duckling of all dimmu songs, indoctrination is one of dimmus most underrated songs. this song fuckin kicks sum serious ass!! hailz dimmu!
If you were responding to me, I was just saying what I said because he said that this was "like" stuff from the 90's, I know perfectly well it didn't come out in the 90's, but I just wanted to say that the 90's ruled. If you weren't talking to me, then completely ignore the comment.
Oh, well thats not really disliking, just not really elaborating on them. If you can find me the interview with some saying they don't like them, please show me. It would be awesome.
Whoa...for one thing, 3:37 is already great, with the simultaneous headbanging. But watch Shagrath behind Galder at 3:53-3:56 -- wtf? I mean I like that part too but...jeez
damn something about those power chords that sound so MOTHERFUCKING HEAVY....i used to be big into this band, kinda got out of em a bit, but damn do i enjoy them

I simply love the last minute and thirty seconds of this song. Mustis's keyboarding is so great.

kensa93 4 years ago

Okay..
kensa93 4 years ago
Now tell me who are the members of that.. Please.. Tnx...
kensa93 4 years ago
Shagrath on the vocal, galder on the lead guitar, barker on the drums, vortex on the bass and I can't remember the rhythm guitar.
FrighterZ 4 years ago
silenoz on rythm and mustis on keyboards
geokamikaze1989 4 years ago
and i think for the in sorte diaboli album its exactly the same members except for barker whose replaced with hellhammer
phatpat1989 4 years ago
why does it always look like Mustis is playing something else? his fingers dont seem to match the actualy synth you're hearing most of the time
mOrtpengu1n 4 years ago
He's almost always playing two keyboard and he uses a pedal on them... he's not a regular keyboard player!
FrighterZ 4 years ago
Maybe Mustis is not regular keyboardplayer but he is very good and talented. Playing two keyboards same time is harder.
VVirman 4 years ago
Yeah definely I would say he's the most technical of the band.

Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth after each other on stage ... i could cheer myself to death over this thought!!!
g4k5l321 4 years ago
Too bad they would probably kill each other backstage.
More like Dimmu killing cradle.
masterman500 4 years ago 2
Totally different genres, but they would likely wind.
PNI9NE 4 years ago
Yes, totally different genres. And I take it Dimmu dislikes cradle, as in interviews Shagrath seems to not want to be anything like them.
"We use keyboards and they use keyboards. Otherwise we are nothing alike."
