trucks are not for speed they are for the power and tork. clearly the ford has the most tork and power because the dodge was just quicker and it is definitely not as powerful as the ford f 3-50
@atomiccheeseburger69 no he was just stupid and broke his rear tires free which made him lose traction for when he put full power the dodge was just smart and new what too do never break ur tires free when racing
@1997cummins1 good point bro, and also you also dont race with 22.5's no grip whatsoever they are made for transports carrying lots of weight out of a really hard rubber compound, not pick ups
@moparpadilla Umm.. nope.. Ford holds no stock in Cummins whatsoever. This all got started in the 70's when Ford was still in the heavy truck market and purchased some Cummins stock. With the amount of revenue Cummins generates (especially since CAT left the heavy truck market) it should be question of who Cummins owns, not who owns Cummins. Educate yourself!
this new 6.7 is a strong runnin motor. Yes it hasnt proven itself yet, but I think your quick to jumpin to conclusions about FoMoCo building it poorly... what are your reasons for that?
And yes... that 7.3L is a strong motor... its numbers keep looking worse and worse though with all these new hp/torque ratings coming out
@89chube good points but look at everything else's HP Torque number back then compared to now. It crazy to think were driven around 400hp trucks right from the factory
@1987FORDF150 I'm glad somebody figured out their problem. Their to cheap to let International make it so they did it themselves and it's a big pile of shit, cummins only builds diesels and although duramax is just a rebranded isuzu diesel they are still fairly decent. Ford building their own diesels is a downfall because they do it pooly. The old 7.3 IDI kicked ass, poor on fuel but it'd give your payload hell, friend of mine has one with 340K on it and it hasn't missed a beat.
@1987FORDF150 K big deal. Ford makes their own engines, and still get beat by the competition! And they made they're damn engines off the ideas of International.
@1987FORDF150 i also think that Cummins was originally a Ford company, and was sold off in the early 50's?? i could, however, be very wrong? let me know..
@1987FORDF150 As of 2011 that is, any engine before this year was made by International. Not to say there's anything wrong with that because the 6.4 is a monster, and the 7.3 is a legend

the driver of the ford put to much throttle down an didnt let the breaks off, so he started doin a burnout before taken off lol...that ford sounds really good.....must be a 7.3
@dodgedude101 ...ya the 6.0L's sound great but to many problems, ford never really had a problem with the 7.3's.....but the only 7.3 i'd get is from 2000 to 2002 an for a 6.0L from 2005 to 2006
@dodgedude101 believe me you would NEVER want a 6.0L. Diesel power magazine has done a huge review on the 6.0L engine, even after you (bullet proof) it, oil flows lubricates that engine very poorly and you will inevitably have engine parts wear and break down. also the engine was very weak when it comes to towing. i lost 17 grand in my ford 6.0L
@skinner371 I said ok thats fine. I just wonder what would the finsh line look like if the ford didn't brake loose. is this english or should i dumb it down more?
@skinner371 Thats why Ford F-150 is the fastest selling truck in America, are you even from America you fucking douchebag. Only thing good about a Dodge is the Cummins Engine. Shut the Fuck up
@BobLeeSwagger01 hey chill out all american trucks are great. dodges are great trucks as well as all the fords and chevys . if you wana talk crap dont be talkin crap on american made pieces of hard workin art!... now the toyota and nissan shit, thats another story. but if its a truck and it came from the best country on earth, its a great peice of machinery
Dude i live in australia. i drive a 1986 toyota hilux. and it is the best ute i have ever owned or driven. Do not smack talk what one does not grasp. unless you have owned a toyota, say nothing.
@vamp2080 i have not owned but i have driven one for several years... compared to my cummins the toyota is a pile of junk. there substandard machinery and not a true work truck. i guess if you just used it as a grocery getter it would be fine but when you need it to work it will come up short every time compared to an american truck
@reducedfat11 the best country on earth lets mother's kill their babies and walk and is going through one of the worst recessions in history, if my 250,000 dollar investment somehow turned into 25000, i wouldn't think my country would be the best on earth, to many of my friends have been completely fucked over by your banking system, it's just so fragile, your money can just disapear, and all the bankers say is, next please.
@reducedfat11 and the second you say american built vehicles are better than german or japanese, you really don't know what you're talking about, i drive a ford ranger, the top of the line rangers come with japanese engines, hell i drive american and i know japanese blows them out of the water, no comparison.
@reducedfat11 well cummins isn't even made by dodge, so dodge can't take any credit for that, and ya they're decent engines but the reason you don't see japanese companies coming out with diesel engines is because it's kinda pointless on a pick up, yeah on a box truck or a semi but people who need these monster diesel engines and 5ft stacks coming out the back are obviously overcompensating for something lol, at least i can have a big engine right?
@G0JETSG0 no diesel engines are definitely not pointless and if you say they are you have obviously never owned one. they get much much better fuel economy than a comparable gas engine and opperate much more reliably for many many more miles. hell they even make great commuter car engines. look at the TDIs they get like 60 miles to the gallon highway and pollute way less than a comparable gas engine. i dont even know why gasoline engines are around anymore lol...
@reducedfat11 they used to be better on fuel, now it's basically the same at least where i'm from. but all your other points did prove me wrong so i'll give you this argument, but when you say i don't know why gasoline engines are around anymore, you think a crazy sports car like a gtr or a vette should run on diesel? i don't really know the mechanical aspect of all this so i'm not being sarcastic i just really want to know your input, you seem to know more than me. sorry about being a dick b4.
@G0JETSG0 yah i have a 95 cummins turbo diesel and it gets 25 mpg all day long ( if i drive nicely) while the new fords my uncle just bought are getting a wopping 12 mpg. this is due to all the restrictive crap the government puts on them to make them cleaner. and true gas motors do have there place in sport cars and racing due to there light weight. yet in a commuter car i believe a turbo diesel would be war more efficient and if it were a hybrid diesel i think you could get near 100 mpg.
@reducedfat11 well thanks for all the input buddy, always nice to be learning, i'll strongly consider a diesel as my next truck, cummins obviously, at least i know those are the best diesel engines, i'd have to be a complete idiot not to know that, thanks again for all the input, even after i was such a bastard on my last few comments.
@blownutsmyass yah i know that i dont know why i said i didnt know gas engines are even around... haha even though the concept of a diesel powered dirtbike sounds interesting its probably not effective
@reducedfat11 with some smart engnering a diesel bike could be done and done well. after all there was a time when a 4 stroke dirt bike was not effective. now look what happen with that. now they don't have race 4 strokes over 450s because humans can't handle any more lol the day may come. or elc dirt bikes that keep up with what we have for HP on a gas bike.
@G0JETSG0 dodge can take credit for puting such a good diesel in there truck. overcompensating? so your saying better milage longer lasting more powerfull engine is a bad thing? thats a retarded comment.
so fucking slow and gay. diesels are fucking stupid. all you kids are gay as fuck that like diesels. cool smoke bro, and you act like you dont care about the environment. i got an ej257 swapped subaru legacy that is eco friendly and can do low 11's. fuck you kids.
@shredfortyler2 Low 11's my ass, these trucks when tuned mildly compared to gas vehicles can get in the 11's. Your legacy could not touch a bone stock z06 unless you have like 30k under your 6k dollar car's hood. Would not make any sense also. Just an FYI - look at all of these modded legacy's and not even first place at the track was in the 11s at all - legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/official-timeslip-and-fastest-lgt-1-4-mile-62363.html?s=d554136c30a008b10030ac377d77f17e&
@buteaux34 it doesnt matter. look at what stock 2007 STI times. its a ej257 longblock with an 18g swap and a front mount with a 6speed helical. its a full sti swap with a larger turbo and a frontmount. you have no idea what your talking about so let subaru kids talk subarus. while you talk about fucking z06 poor mans sports cars.
@shredfortyler2 Haha, your talking about a poor mans sports car, and you have a legacy and try to bring it to the track, HAHA. Z06 - best bang for the buck sports car, bar none. What car do you know has 7 liters, 1/4 mile under 12, with right conditions, out of the box, and gets 25 mpg or better on the highway, and comes with a 100k mile warranty, and cost less than 80 grand brand new? Your fart can car cannot do that!
@buteaux34 zo6 stock will not do under 12 stock sorry, also there are many older cars that can do that for mabey 10k (r32's33'34's) the nsx will run a 12s your laughing but a well tuned cheap legacy with a good turbo and awd will run circles past this z06 in a short 1/4 mile and that z06 sure as hell wont keep up to an sti on the street when your talking real world driving (potholes, snow, stoplights etc) the sti will do 0-60 in less then 5 sec as well, o and the new gtr is one of the fastest!
@longboardguy I live an hour from hennessy motorsports and talk to the tuners over there. Z06 is absolutely beast, but they did say that the GTR with a mild turbo upgrade and mild tune will stomp a Z06 with $30k under the hood. I can accept the truth from professional tuners, also the GTR is pretty ugly for $80k. One was at church a few weeks ago, and it is strikingly similar to an altima in person. Actually experience something before you talk shit, dumbass.
@longboardguy 11.97 @ 118.80 dipshit! That is off the showroom floor with a timeslip. Your sub 5 second 60 is laughable, childsplay in a z06 or GTR arena. The only thing you got right was a GTR is faster than a z06. My father in law has a 2010 Z06, I have a Dodge cummins 5.9 2006, my wife has a 2006 mercedes s500. My good friend has a 2008 wrx sti. Z06 is head and shoulders the fastest, obviously the STI stomps me and I stomp my wifes mercedes with a bone stock cummins.
@longboardguy But my wife and I use our cars for practicality, my father in law is a car enthusiast, your STI bullshit is so fricken funny, my buddy gets his ass handed to him by Z06s and admits it, Once you tune your stupid as turbo charged STi up to enough HP and tq to hang with a stock z06 you will be getting like 15 mpg, if you cant keep your foot out of it, haha. You are talking out of your ass, and have no Real World experience.
@buteaux34 fag shut the fuck up, that is all and wont check this again lol your little knowledge on cars other then what you think you know about the z06 and sti dont impress, continue working your office job though! thats for sure...
@buteaux34 I dont care I own a 180sx (sr20det) and a 2001 f350 7.3L so Im far from a ricer fan, but I will tell you my car is alot faster then a chipped 7.3L, and its beaten duramaxs etc. that thought they were faster with a chip, sorry even at about 230whp and tq, a sub 2000lb car is very quick.
@longboardguy So you own a bunch of old ass cars, good for you. Go tune them up this weekend and then write some lies about shit you do at your fictitious track! Haha, you and ricer buds with a 180sx and fricken subaru legacy talking shit on a video with a ford and dodge diesel. Go watch a video of your car doing 13s or 14s in 1/4 and quit living in dreamland. Your fart can car can beat your old f350 - good deal. You probably put all your money in your car, so that makes sense.
what logic do you find getting the tires spinning before the light goes. the goal is to keep traction and power to the ground. another word of advice get those huge rims and tiny tires off that truck it looks retarded
Obviously the cummins had that race, it got quite a bit of a better start, not hating on the cummins because the cummins are badass but if the ford had as good of a start as the dodge it would have been pretty close it seems
The only reason people are hating on the Ford is because it's badass. Just look at the damn thing! The Cummins was obviously faster but who gives a shit.
Birdie9869.... You fuckin idiot, " CumminGs "? That alone lets everybody know that you dont know dick about engines. Its CUMMINS, and they're built by CUMMINS. What the fuck is a Cummings anyway? I bet its the name of your favorite black dildo that all too often goes back and forth from your ass to your mouth. DumbAss
@birdie9869 No, Ford does NOT either make nor own Cummins. This seems to be a widespread rumour that has been around for years. The ONLY diesel engines made by Ford in vehicles on the North American side of globe, were the 6.6L and 7.8L inline-6 turbo diesels that were available in various medium and heavy duty trucks of earlier model years.
@pullinpete They also make the new 6.7 in-house... but ford does own a small share in cummins. and this is why ford has a cummins option in the f650 and up
@blawilliams Ford used to own some shares in Cummins. they bought back the majority of them (1.3 million) back in 1997. Ford may own small shares in Cummins because it is a publicly company who's stock is traded under CMI at the NY stock exchange. Hell I own some shares in Cummins but that doesn't make me the owner. Ford has the option of putting Cummins in any truck they want to, for this simple reason. Ford is a customer of Cummins they pay cummins for the engine simple is that, anyone can.
@InhumaneClient ford used to own alot of stock in cummins, but with fords problems in the late 90's sold i think like half of what they had, but they kept enough to keep a contract with cummins for so many units, for the 650 and up commercial vehicles.
@blawilliams Hey man, yea Ford did own a large share in Cummins but like i said it was bought back. And Cummins is a company you don't have to own a share to get their engines. They will sell them to you for a certain price per engine and that is what ford foes for their 650's. Basically I called call cummins up and buy a motor...they just give ford the better deal because they buy in bulk. It does not mean that they own shares in the company however.
anyone can say what ever shit they want about jacked up trucks and how they're supposed to be slow but the fact of the matter is that FAT CHICKS CAN'T JUMP! so go ahead and lower your shit so your fat girl can ride with you while the rest of us grab ourselves a nice piece of ass so we can grab that ass while we help her up into our trucks!
@richjd630 oh yes there is, i dont wanna play a guessing game as to which hole to stick it in everytime i wanna get laid, you have issues and should probably just cut your dick off now cause your obviously not using it right
this sucks cause the ford had no grip....try again in 4wd and well see who wins

@skinner371 I said ok thats fine. I just wonder what would the finsh line look like if the ford didn't brake loose. is this english or should i dumb it down more?
bestbet25 1 year ago
@bestbet25
Ok thats not the way you typed it first so. The finish line woulda looked the same cause dodge is the way to go!
skinner371 1 year ago
@skinner371 Thats why Ford F-150 is the fastest selling truck in America, are you even from America you fucking douchebag. Only thing good about a Dodge is the Cummins Engine. Shut the Fuck up
BobLeeSwagger01 11 months ago
@BobLeeSwagger01 hey chill out all american trucks are great. dodges are great trucks as well as all the fords and chevys . if you wana talk crap dont be talkin crap on american made pieces of hard workin art!... now the toyota and nissan shit, thats another story. but if its a truck and it came from the best country on earth, its a great peice of machinery
reducedfat11 10 months ago 36
@reducedfat11
Dude i live in australia. i drive a 1986 toyota hilux. and it is the best ute i have ever owned or driven. Do not smack talk what one does not grasp. unless you have owned a toyota, say nothing.
vamp2080 7 months ago
@vamp2080 i have not owned but i have driven one for several years... compared to my cummins the toyota is a pile of junk. there substandard machinery and not a true work truck. i guess if you just used it as a grocery getter it would be fine but when you need it to work it will come up short every time compared to an american truck
reducedfat11 7 months ago
@reducedfat11 the best country on earth lets mother's kill their babies and walk and is going through one of the worst recessions in history, if my 250,000 dollar investment somehow turned into 25000, i wouldn't think my country would be the best on earth, to many of my friends have been completely fucked over by your banking system, it's just so fragile, your money can just disapear, and all the bankers say is, next please.
G0JETSG0 7 months ago
@reducedfat11 and the second you say american built vehicles are better than german or japanese, you really don't know what you're talking about, i drive a ford ranger, the top of the line rangers come with japanese engines, hell i drive american and i know japanese blows them out of the water, no comparison.
G0JETSG0 7 months ago
@G0JETSG0 haha my cummins says otherwise.
reducedfat11 6 months ago
@reducedfat11 well cummins isn't even made by dodge, so dodge can't take any credit for that, and ya they're decent engines but the reason you don't see japanese companies coming out with diesel engines is because it's kinda pointless on a pick up, yeah on a box truck or a semi but people who need these monster diesel engines and 5ft stacks coming out the back are obviously overcompensating for something lol, at least i can have a big engine right?
G0JETSG0 6 months ago
@G0JETSG0 no diesel engines are definitely not pointless and if you say they are you have obviously never owned one. they get much much better fuel economy than a comparable gas engine and opperate much more reliably for many many more miles. hell they even make great commuter car engines. look at the TDIs they get like 60 miles to the gallon highway and pollute way less than a comparable gas engine. i dont even know why gasoline engines are around anymore lol...
reducedfat11 6 months ago
@reducedfat11 they used to be better on fuel, now it's basically the same at least where i'm from. but all your other points did prove me wrong so i'll give you this argument, but when you say i don't know why gasoline engines are around anymore, you think a crazy sports car like a gtr or a vette should run on diesel? i don't really know the mechanical aspect of all this so i'm not being sarcastic i just really want to know your input, you seem to know more than me. sorry about being a dick b4.
G0JETSG0 6 months ago
@G0JETSG0 yah i have a 95 cummins turbo diesel and it gets 25 mpg all day long ( if i drive nicely) while the new fords my uncle just bought are getting a wopping 12 mpg. this is due to all the restrictive crap the government puts on them to make them cleaner. and true gas motors do have there place in sport cars and racing due to there light weight. yet in a commuter car i believe a turbo diesel would be war more efficient and if it were a hybrid diesel i think you could get near 100 mpg.
reducedfat11 6 months ago
@reducedfat11 well thanks for all the input buddy, always nice to be learning, i'll strongly consider a diesel as my next truck, cummins obviously, at least i know those are the best diesel engines, i'd have to be a complete idiot not to know that, thanks again for all the input, even after i was such a bastard on my last few comments.
G0JETSG0 6 months ago
@reducedfat11 why gas engines are still around. because diesel fuel is made buy what they would normally throw out making gasoline.
blownutsmyass 5 months ago
@blownutsmyass yah i know that i dont know why i said i didnt know gas engines are even around... haha even though the concept of a diesel powered dirtbike sounds interesting its probably not effective
reducedfat11 5 months ago
@reducedfat11 with some smart engnering a diesel bike could be done and done well. after all there was a time when a 4 stroke dirt bike was not effective. now look what happen with that. now they don't have race 4 strokes over 450s because humans can't handle any more lol the day may come. or elc dirt bikes that keep up with what we have for HP on a gas bike.
blownutsmyass 5 months ago
@G0JETSG0 dodge can take credit for puting such a good diesel in there truck. overcompensating? so your saying better milage longer lasting more powerfull engine is a bad thing? thats a retarded comment.

so fucking slow and gay. diesels are fucking stupid. all you kids are gay as fuck that like diesels. cool smoke bro, and you act like you dont care about the environment. i got an ej257 swapped subaru legacy that is eco friendly and can do low 11's. fuck you kids.
shredfortyler2 1 year ago
@shredfortyler2 Low 11's my ass, these trucks when tuned mildly compared to gas vehicles can get in the 11's. Your legacy could not touch a bone stock z06 unless you have like 30k under your 6k dollar car's hood. Would not make any sense also. Just an FYI - look at all of these modded legacy's and not even first place at the track was in the 11s at all - legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/official-timeslip-and-fastest-lgt-1-4-mile-62363.html?s=d554136c30a008b10030ac377d77f17e&
buteaux34 1 year ago
@buteaux34 it doesnt matter. look at what stock 2007 STI times. its a ej257 longblock with an 18g swap and a front mount with a 6speed helical. its a full sti swap with a larger turbo and a frontmount. you have no idea what your talking about so let subaru kids talk subarus. while you talk about fucking z06 poor mans sports cars.
shredfortyler2 1 year ago
@shredfortyler2 Haha, your talking about a poor mans sports car, and you have a legacy and try to bring it to the track, HAHA. Z06 - best bang for the buck sports car, bar none. What car do you know has 7 liters, 1/4 mile under 12, with right conditions, out of the box, and gets 25 mpg or better on the highway, and comes with a 100k mile warranty, and cost less than 80 grand brand new? Your fart can car cannot do that!
buteaux34 1 year ago
@buteaux34 zo6 stock will not do under 12 stock sorry, also there are many older cars that can do that for mabey 10k (r32's33'34's) the nsx will run a 12s your laughing but a well tuned cheap legacy with a good turbo and awd will run circles past this z06 in a short 1/4 mile and that z06 sure as hell wont keep up to an sti on the street when your talking real world driving (potholes, snow, stoplights etc) the sti will do 0-60 in less then 5 sec as well, o and the new gtr is one of the fastest!
longboardguy 1 year ago

Z06 is head and shoulders the fastest, obviously the STI stomps me and I stomp my wifes mercedes with a bone stock cummins.
buteaux34 1 year ago
@buteaux34 haha my fucking old ass 91' 180sx will run in the mid 12's without majpor upgrades, boost is not an enemy my friend
longboardguy 1 year ago
@longboardguy But my wife and I use our cars for practicality, my father in law is a car enthusiast, your STI bullshit is so fricken funny, my buddy gets his ass handed to him by Z06s and admits it, Once you tune your stupid as turbo charged STi up to enough HP and tq to hang with a stock z06 you will be getting like 15 mpg, if you cant keep your foot out of it, haha. You are talking out of your ass, and have no Real World experience.
buteaux34 1 year ago
@buteaux34 fag shut the fuck up, that is all and wont check this again lol your little knowledge on cars other then what you think you know about the z06 and sti dont impress, continue working your office job though! thats for sure...

@longboardguy Look what happens to your ricer by a not so fast duramax - well actually pretty fast, youtube.com/watch?v=0IwGsEzITQs
buteaux34 1 year ago
@buteaux34 I dont care I own a 180sx (sr20det) and a 2001 f350 7.3L so Im far from a ricer fan, but I will tell you my car is alot faster then a chipped 7.3L, and its beaten duramaxs etc. that thought they were faster with a chip, sorry even at about 230whp and tq, a sub 2000lb car is very quick.
longboardguy 1 year ago

Drewtitus 1 year ago
Obviously the cummins had that race, it got quite a bit of a better start, not hating on the cummins because the cummins are badass but if the ford had as good of a start as the dodge it would have been pretty close it seems

DumbAss
DrMcelroy 1 year ago
@birdie9869 No, Ford does NOT either make nor own Cummins. This seems to be a widespread rumour that has been around for years. The ONLY diesel engines made by Ford in vehicles on the North American side of globe, were the 6.6L and 7.8L inline-6 turbo diesels that were available in various medium and heavy duty trucks of earlier model years.
pullinpete 1 year ago
@pullinpete They also make the new 6.7 in-house... but ford does own a small share in cummins. and this is why ford has a cummins option in the f650 and up
blawilliams 1 year ago
@blawilliams Ford used to own some shares in Cummins. they bought back the majority of them (1.3 million) back in 1997. Ford may own small shares in Cummins because it is a publicly company who's stock is traded under CMI at the NY stock exchange. Hell I own some shares in Cummins but that doesn't make me the owner. Ford has the option of putting Cummins in any truck they want to, for this simple reason. Ford is a customer of Cummins they pay cummins for the engine simple is that, anyone can.
InhumaneClient 1 year ago
@InhumaneClient ford used to own alot of stock in cummins, but with fords problems in the late 90's sold i think like half of what they had, but they kept enough to keep a contract with cummins for so many units, for the 650 and up commercial vehicles.
blawilliams 1 year ago
@blawilliams Hey man, yea Ford did own a large share in Cummins but like i said it was bought back. And Cummins is a company you don't have to own a share to get their engines. They will sell them to you for a certain price per engine and that is what ford foes for their 650's. Basically I called call cummins up and buy a motor...they just give ford the better deal because they buy in bulk. It does not mean that they own shares in the company however.
InhumaneClient 1 year ago
ford built cummings retards!
