He does great work for kids with Type 1 diabetes, visits them in hospitals and gives entire hospital wards of kids Christmas gifts, and this is all PR-free and reporter free charity work, and not to mention gives type 1 kids like my son hope that they can do anything!! Many folks in the Type 1 diabetic community really appreciate him and his helpfulness and caring He is always there for the kids big time!! It is not in the regular news but we know
@dejahthoris Yea but yet the media tries to portray him as a quitter, an asshole and a wimp just because hes not the most media friendly and has a pouty looking face, when in reality he's the complete opposite
For people to dog Jay for what's happened is ridiculous...it was a new system for him in Chicago last year, his O-line WREAKS, and he had recievers who had hands like bricks. Hopefully this year things will work out. I like the guy. I'm sorry, but Hester to WR...that' just plain dumb. He's a good #3 option at best. Get Cutler some WRs.
I remember checking on line everyday hoping and praying that he would get traded to the bears and one day i was at work on april 2nd and got online on my phone and i saw the headline " bears boldly trade for cutler" We are bound for the superbowl because we have done an outstanding job in previous years working around having a bad quarterback...now we don't have to do that anymore.
Hey f*ck you buddy. Why don't you try to throw a ball 30 yards down field while you run for your life because no one can give you any sort of protection whatsoever. I guess im doing what no one on the bears can do....guarding my quarterback...
I bet cutlers passer rating is 100 plus when he actually has more than 2 seconds to throw. The problem is that he rarely has time to throw the ball. How about everyone stop focusing on the 22 interceptions. Just the fact that he has 19 touchdowns despite all the pressure is remarkable. And dont say kyle orton is better. Kyle orton had a decent o line last season along with the leagues leader in yards from scrimmage at running back. If Orton played for us now he would be eaten alive
Yes your absolutley right. Orton under the same circumstances would have been put on injured reserve by game number 3 of the season because he can't escape the pocket like cutler. Orton would have had 7 or 8 interceptions through those first 3 games though and wouldnt have been able to beat pittsburgh or rally against seattle at qwest field like cutler did. Yes Orton was solid last season but the thing is last season he had a running game and only needed to throw a 3 yard pass on 3rd down.
Your line isn't that bad dude, they can't run the ball very well but they aren't the worst o line in the league. Its simple, Cutler is still learning this new offense and had made too many poor decisions.
Oh, I disagree I do beleive that our o line is by far the worst in the league. That line is forcing the bears to be one dimensional. Wouldn't you expect that a quarterback would throw more interceptions if he has absolutley no running game to complement him? Think about it dude, opposing defenses can just sit back and play the pass all day against the bears or blitz the quarterback because they know they don't have to worry about the run...that is why Cutler has all of these picks.
The only time an individual player will decline that much from a pro bowl season is if they are past their prime...Jay is only 26 years old I think. So to me it is obvious that it is a combination of the fact that we have poor coaching with Ron Turner and Lovie Smith and a lack of a big target reciever and offensive line.
You guys do need some real receivers, but Jay still makes too many bad throws. He has to know that the guys around him need him to play well and when he does, they do. When he has a bad game the team loses and it shouldn't be all his fault, but he is the man in Chicago now.
Your right their are tremendous expectations for Jay Cutler. That is why the majority of the blame has gone his way. But for people who study the game and see more than just the interception know that Jay is not at fault. I think that 5 or 6 of his interceptions have been deflected off of his recievers hands. Those can not be blamed on him because he put the ball where it needed to be. And also there was the on intereption in minnesota where there was obvious pass interference.
Yes, I agree if you were to take away all of the interceptions that were clearly not his fault (and there has been a boat load) he would still have somewhere in the realm of 15 to 18 which is a lot. But he wouldn't be leading the league in interceptions and he would have more touchdowns than interceptions and probaly one or 2 more wins. Anyways I heard Matt Hasselbeck threw for 4 interceptions against the Packers today. Their a good defense. The bears played them twice this year.
Ya Matt has thrown 4 picks in each of these last 2 games. Something he had done only once in the previous 8 years. So he's starting to show some age, but our O line is god awful as well.
I don't know if you watched Bears vs Vikings but that goes to show what Cutler can do if he has a little protection. He lit Minnesota up. And I really have to complement Chris Williams for taking care of business against Jared Allen.
Yeah, man I remember the whole league though the titans were crazy for drafting Johnson "too early" but obviously your guys' scouts saw something that no one else saw. Wish he was on the bears...definitley playing much better than forte.
He is getting older, but I think he has a few years left in him if we can protect him. Peyton is the same age and he's going strong, but he is the biggest baby of a qb I have ever seen. That offensive line pampers him.

I was happy with Orton, but I`m even happier with Cutler now.
Orton doesnt have a cannon for an arm but hes a very good decision maker Q.B.
Denver 5-0 with him!

Ya so how is that Super Bowl thing coming? Since you have no idea how bad your team really is.

So all 20+ INTS are all on the lineman? That's laughable. They aren't that good but he still makes terrible throws.

I would bet you ANYTHING that Orton under the same circumstances as Jay right now, would NOT have thrown 22 ints.
Cutler just makes too many bad decisions.

You just wont accept the fact that he makes too many bad throws this year. You can't blame them all on the offensive line.
Look at this last week in Baltimore. 3 more picks.
My seahawks in 2007 had a horrendous running game and our QB simply managed 28 TD 12 INTS 3900 Yards, 91 QB rating yet Cutler just stinks it up.
Remember the Niner game this year? The one where Jay threw 5 picks and completely lost the game for them?
Get with reality.

He had a good game. The o line took care of business and he did his part. it was a great game, I did want the Vikes to win though.
Who do the Bears play this week?
UGLYSTIKCOLIN 2 years ago
The Bears play Detroit this week...looks like we get to end the season on a winning streak and positive momentum towards next season.
beardownchitown 2 years ago
We play the Titans, Chris Johnson needs like 128 yards to get to 2,000. It will be exciting to see, we've only allowed one 100 yard rusher all year.

Yeah, man I remember the whole league though the titans were crazy for drafting Johnson "too early" but obviously your guys' scouts saw something that no one else saw. Wish he was on the bears...definitley playing much better than forte.

Im a seahawks fan, FYI. But we've drafted decently the last few years, decent at best. Were in a rebuiliding stage though now, unfortunately.

Oh yeah duh. Brain fart. I think you guys should definitley go after a qb in this years draft. Hasselbeck is getting up there in age.
