  • Nice lectures & nicely explained.... I am Ur New Student nd from Pakistan...

  • Nice lecture..

  • DR.sahib is teaching well but some points needs a little more explanation

  • A Great Teacher for sure!

  • You are a very good teacher....The world is a better place because of you.

    Thanks, Richard

  • Nice lecture. Very help full.

  • thanks a million , this was simple ,informing and helpfull

  • I was looking for some video to refresh on some of the old stuff I had worked on, very happy to find these lectures. They are simple and clear. Thanks,

Just a note on Bluetooth Piconet: There is no limit as such on how many devices can be connected, but, there can be only 8 devices active at a time. This is because the spec follows a 48 bit device address system and maintains 3-bit space to track active devices. So, 2^3 = 8 devices can be active with many other devices in the piconet.

  • good one

  • nptelhrd, This video is definently ok. I enjoyed it.

  • very nice and helpfull.

  • thanks for this lecture Dr

  • It would be better if i could understand you :/

    What's wrong with speaking english?

  • I thought this course would be taught mathematically like an engineering course..??

  • My question is on Handoff:

If user switch from base station(B1) operating at frequency(f1) to base station (B2) operating at frequency(f2) this means user earlier transmitting signal at frequency f1 is now transmitting at frequency f2 how does this not effect the communication at other side (which earlier operating at f1 and still at f1)

  • Now there is a wireless solution to stream video content from PC to TV.

  • At 7.46 is it microwave or medium wave ?

  • after seeing wireless market prediction done by Dr Rajan bose came to reality now, I do not know why Indian companies not venturing into mobile phone design and manufacturing. Why are we buying imported mobiles, rather buying mobiles "Designed by Indians"

  • Nokia manufactures phones in India, don't they? Maybe more mobile phone design and manufacturing should be done in India.

  • i have a doubt mm waves attenuate so quickly versus other waves, then why we use microwave for long transmission

  • ddggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

  • now we got even more !

    3g, wimax, wifi, and bluetooth

  • Thanks!

    Good lecture.

Well could you give some information regarding Underwater Wireless Communication?

Existing technology, challenges and future developments, etc.etc.

  • why do mm waves attenuate so quickly versus other waves?

  • because of the skin effect. high frequency, conductors attenuate signal rapidly.

  • you guys rock!!! Thank You for sharing the knowledge.
