  • beautiful is the water fresh water or salt water and what kind of lighting

  • Aaaaw he is too cute..that turtle just comes up & is like "you better share with that" lol I didnt know u could house em together. Pretty bad ass though. I want one ;)

  • nice video! thats a beautiful caiman. Pretty funy too, seeing the turtle hang on there XD

  • Who knew caiman's can jump! lol

  • lol the turtles like LET ME AT HIM LET ME AT HIM

  • looks like a velociraptor

  • I'm just afraid if the turtle will not release the mouse and the caiman accidentally chew on the head of the turtle :S

  • i am not an expert, but i do keep various reptiles, and i would NOT keep a dwarf caiman with a turtle.

  • @pbdude725 Thats you ...

  • I've heard nothing but bad things about dwarf caiman. If you're looking for a small crocodilian to keep as a pet you're far better off with a west african dwarf crocodile or a chinese alligator.

  • about 5 ft. Hard to tame.

  • lmfao!!!!!!! he yanked that turtle right out the water!

  • that was pretty awesome.

  • My Caimen is about the same size. Have only had him for about 2 or 3 weeks now. But not nearly as bold. Sits in his water full time..only eats at night, in the dark, if no one is up. :( He is very shy. Wish he would eat like that.

  • @shnookey1979 his comfort will grow with time in his environment. i suggest trying to handle him for 5 mins a day

  • how big do they grow

  • Dwarf Caiman: mine

  • 200-300 bucks

  • can you keep adult turtles with an adult dwarf caiman??

    please answer =)

  • its not recommened, but if need be u can for a short time

  • i had a 4 foot caimen & an adult male mississippi soft shell mud turtle in a good sized tank for 6 years

they grew up together & there was never a problem

  • @piglett2195 how big was the tank?

  • 9' long

  • that set up is awesome!

  • HA!!! check out that turtle..hes all like get offa my mouse!!!..

  • haha i never knew there was a turtle until i read your comment

  • Great video. I am thinking of getting a dward caiman soon.

  • i am going to get a dwarf caiman soon. how much do they cost to buy and feed?

  • I don't know too much about caimans but I can tell you that the set up you have is way too small for a turtle. I kinda want a caiman but I don't have the money to support one.

  • what are you even talking about?! this is one of the first proper set ups i've seen on youtube!! while i do NOT condone housing different species together this is a wonderful set up for a juvenile turtle (minus the caiman being in it lol). VERY nice caiman btw. hope he doesnt have any toes missing by now from that turtle!!!

  • I highly disagree it's one of the nicest looking set ups I've seen but it's not good for turtles. Hatchling, juvy, or adult, the turtles need 10 gallons of water per inch of shell.

  • where did you read that. most informational owners manuals say 5 times bigger than the turtle at full growth. and at least 1 ft deep. "TURTLES A COMPLETE PET OWNERS MANUAL" check it out.

  • i used to raise mice in a couple of old fish tanks in my garage. the mice ate cheep walmart dog food & the caimen & turtle ate the mice

  • how much did you buy him for and how well do the caiman and the turtle live together

  • that is a fucking gorgous cuviers dwarf how old is he ?

  • lol that turtle was like no way MINE! LMAO 5*

  • are dwarf caimans legal in california...PLEASE ASNWER THANKS

  • If FERRETS aren't legal in California, then I guarantee this is not. Seriously, there are very little exotic pets legal there.

  • That set up is beautiful. I wish more crocodilian (or repile in general) owners took the time to care for their animals like you are. Keep it up!

  • I'm selling my Caiman right now for 300-400 dollars and that comes with everything it needs. I live near Toronto, Canada. If you are interested in buying him send me a message to my youtube account... He is 2 feet long right now very healthy and not shy at all.

  • where can i get one?

    and how much?

  • the caiman was hanging on for dear life lol

  • it dosnt eat the turtles!?

  • they get 5 feet max

  • 8 footers have been reported

  • WHERE?!?!?!!? that's a new one! 8 footers? right. show me that link.

  • 8 footers my ass

  • Black, brown, yacare, and spectacled caimans reach lengths of 8 feet or more, but the two dwarf caimans (p. Trigonatus and p. Palpabrosus) generally only reach 4-5 feet. The one in the clip looks like a p. Palp or Cuvier's or Wedge head dwarf caiman. Most people consider this species the "true" dwarf caiman. They do stay smaller than the p. Trig.

  • how big do dwarf caimans get?? I like dwarf reptiles I have a dwarf retic

  • how big do they get ??????????

  • sup fangsy whats the update of your caiman?

  • lol I think it might be time to separate them

  • Exellent...lol.Tug of War.

  • thats not good.try to keep ur turtles right side up.
