@kathleenc8 I'm 25 and I reread my BSC books from time to time. And I'm watching this right now. I don't think anyone COMPLETELY outgrows the BSC for good; we true "members" always head back to Stoneybrook to revisit our oldest friends. ;)
3:39 Nice face, kid. Does Kristy call her "Zuzu"? rotfl.
6:20 Those are the funniest sounding gasps I've ever heard! Sounds likr thoses old timey horns that go "AwooGA!"
They spied quite a bit. In Claudia And The Missing Jewels, they spy on Watson's housekeeper Julie, following her around town like a bunch of buffoons. lol.
i am 13 and i am in middle school i love the babysitter club series its the only books i red i saw the move but with the books i feel like i am a part of the BSC
@Angelalovesthe90s Definitely not! =) While I'm sure some of it fits a lot of people's ideas of cheese, it's not in a bad way! =D There's good cheese (and corn) too! XD
I'm 21 and love this series, the Little Sister books, Boxcar Children, Ramona, etc...I would love to transport myself back to being little and all the easy times while reading these books :)
Don't anybody worry about being "too old!" It'll never happen. Don't care what anyone says. BSC, Boxcar Children, Sweet Valley...I'll always love junior and YA fiction, especially all of those wonderful old series!! I read last year's BSC prequel and would love to keep reading about them. They really should have a reunion book set in the future!
This show may be cheesy as all get-out, but I love it. And the fashions, too.
I relate to all the girls, esp. Mallory, Kristy, Dawn, & Claud.
@lecharecarg thanks. I am glad to hear that. I have been out of school for 11 years and was teased all through high school for liking them and I still read them today. Thanks, again. :D
I am a 28 year old and I am still addicted to BSC. Is that a bad thing?? I got teased in high school for liking it. Just wanted to know if maybe I was too old for them. Mary Anne is my fave. I am most like her in many ways.
I'm 23 and I'm still addicted to it too!! I no different than adults loving Harry Potter!!! BSC is one of the best selling book series of all time. I gues everyone has a bit of kid in them! lol
@kathleenc8 Don't worry, I still love them and I don't think I'll stop. I'm sixteen, and its easier to just stay in the BSC closet. It sucks, they're so hard to find in Australia.
@kathleenc8 Im 29 and still like them. Im a paraprofessional; this yuear I worked as an aide to first grade teachers. On lunch break (an hour) I would sometimes go to the school library and read or take out the BSC books they had. Just Read the Summer Before, new book about summer before BSC.
@kathleenc8 not necessarily, I know for me, its a nostalgic thing. same goes for sweet valley twins, and nancy drew books. unless you don't read nothing else, i wouldn't' worry.
@RENTluver06@kathleenc8 i'm 27 and got extremly giddy because someone posted the videos. I heart BSC and Mary Ann was my favorite even tho I'm a total tomboy like Kristy!
@kathleenc8 I am 28 as well and I love BSC I am like Stacey in alot of ways and I am also diabetic like her. So it's ok if you still like them I do as well we can be in the same club, The BSC...
@kathleenc8 Never too old to enjoy what makes you happy and your never to old to enjoy good entertainment! I thought I was alone in my love of all my childhood tv shows, but you all helped me to realize I'm not alone and shouldn't be ashame!
@kathleenc8: ain't nothing wrong with being addicted to the BSC at that age. I'm 29 myself and I grew up watching the videos and reading the books. I feel I'm mostly like Kristy...the tomboy, and into sports
@kathleenc8 I'm 23 and I thought I had to be a closet BSC fan now that I'm an adult. It's encouraging to know I can still hang on to the childhood memories that are warm & fuzzy.
I don't think it's a bad thing at all. I'm a 43 year old male Mathematics teacher at Pamona Junior High and have been enjoying the BSC since the beginning. I would have to say that Kristy is my favorite though. Sure, she can get a little fiesty sometimes, but in the end, she's the one that had all the good ideas. I mean, if it was up to the rest of the girls, they'd just be sitting in a shallow mud-pit, crying and flailing their arms. The mud would make a slapping sound.
@kathleenc8 lol you don't need anyone's permission to like the babysitter's club!! They are awesome. I'm 26 and I would love to own this series. I can't seem to find it though...
@kathleenc8 There's nothing wrong about liking The Baby-Sitters Club! I'm now 25 and have been a huge fan since I was 9 years old and Mary Anne is also my favorite.
@xd0rkus58 I have Claudia & the Missing Jewels. I'll upload it & send you the link.
