  • Excellent work on the editing! Hats off to you! Who is that singing 'What's new pussycat? I'd love to find out. Thanks kindly.

  • do you know where i can find the movie in its entirety?

  • Nice clips.

  • VERY ORIGINAL AND COOL - TOO BAD MORE PEOPLE CAN'T SEE THIS BECAUSE YOU BLOCKED IT FROM BEING EMBEDDED WHICH LIMITS IT'S DISTRIBUTION - THIS IS WHY IN THREE YEARS YOU BARLEY HAVE 3,000 HITS - THE MORE IT GETS EMBEDDED FOR VIEWING ON OTHER SITES THE MORE HITS YOU GET ON YOUTUBE - WHY DID YOU WASTE THE TIME MAKING THIS JUST TO LEAVE IT ON YOUTUBE??? WHAT A DUMB THING TO DO - YOU ARE LIMITING YOUR AUDIENCE BY TRYING TO FORCE PEOPLE TO WATCH IT ON YOUTUBE INSTEAD OF - FACEBOOK YOU LOSE HITS!

  • @thegerleragency1 umm I did not block it, it maybe a YT glitch!

  • @thegerleragency1 just looked into it, Warner blocked it from being embedded, I would never do that, because I agree!

  • Great!! Tournier does a fantastic job with this film. I love the fact that a sort of 'psychological tension' is a focal point of this film; it really gives it that little extra. It's much better than the '82 re-make. Love this song and the scenes that you chose, Craig. A great job. 5***'s!!

  • meow meow purr purr meow..

mew mau mau pfffftt.. (twitch n shake) meOw..

  • Totally Beautiful and deeply respectful to Tourner's masterpiece.

I love the interpretation of the song.

Far more people should see this.

    True artistry!

  • @MrScopophiliac what a nice Comment!..thank you!

  • MeOw

    purrrrrrrfect

  • Wow, this clip is really a wonderful creation. You took two items which (while vaguely related) I never thought of in quite the same vain, and magically joined them together so that they can scarcely ever come apart again. Excellent job! I've always loved the original "Cat People" for its cinematic moodiness, such wonderful shadows. You've utilized them here beautifully.

  • you made my day with your comment..I am glad someone else appreciates the genuis of yhe original film! and I am glad you liked my musical choice!

  • .....brilliant as ever.....and clever to find an unusual version of the song....both video and audio are cool.

  • great video. I was thinking the David Bowie song "Cat People" with this but the song you picked fits the mood of the clip perfectly.

  • yeah they used the Bowie song for the 80's remake, I wanted this video to have it's own song..glad you liked it!

  • Woops, another one I haven's seen. The video is very good.

  • Never seen this one either OR heard this version of the song...Odd but good : )

  • it was remade in the 80's..love you beyond imagination!

  • I always wanted to watch this film ever since i heard of it,now i can't stop thinking of it after watching this video 5 stars Craig!

  • as always Eric! you are the man!!

  • Loved the video, the movie seems marvellous but most of all, I loved this version of "what's new pussicat". Who is singing?

  • her name is Lisa B

  • Tournier, like William Castle, was very underrated. Witness the bare back in the bathtub at 2:31 - very shocking for '42, I suspect - the use of dissolves, animation, shadows. I really do like the Paul Shrader version, too and of course we wouldn't have that one without this one and I bet young audience really were frightened back in the day. Good job!

  • thank you Rick!

  • Wow you've dusted off a classic 40s. Bravo Craig for choosing to make a tribute to Jaques Tourner!!

    This film is reviewed!

The music is beautiful and I think that your last job to be seen at night!

Mystery, suspense and the background music excites the viewer!! Bravo!! 5 and added!

  • Thank You Mirko!
