Jerusalem is a bit trickier. No Israeli will give it up (it is our capital). What we can do is transfer the holy places to international control insuring that freedom of religion will be granted to everyone (which does not occur today, not by the Israelis by the way).

East Jerusalem is home to far more Arabs than Jews. If Israel can have Jerusalem as it's capital, why can't they give East Jerusalem to the Palestinians. This is an important city to ALL religious people. I agree international control is better, but otherwise there must be a split.
To clear things up: there is no such thing as east Jerusalem; it's referred to as the old city. That area contains almost all of the most religious places to Judaism in the world. Giving it up will basically mean giving up Jerusalem entirely, something that will never happen. Under Israeli law all religious places must be open to all religions.

It is physically impossible to create the solution you speak of.
Since there were no organized boarders to return to (in 67, the boarder was a line of rocks guarded by soldiers of both sides. There area stories about soldiers from both sides constantly moving the rocks back and forth).
On top of that it's not possible to uproot so many people from their homes and move them elsewhere.
Some of these settlements are full blown cities. It would be impossible to remove those people.

What I propose is that negotiations begin regarding new boarders (in which the settlements remain with us and no new ones are built).
Jerusalem is a bit trickier. No Israeli will give it up (it is our capital). What we can do is transfer the holy places to international control insuring that freedom of religion will be granted to everyone (which does not occur today, not by the Israelis by the way).

The settlements in the West Bank are illegal. They must be dismantled. No one will listen to the racist settlers that have to pack up and leave...they were hostile toward their Arab neighbors anyway.
East Jerusalem is home to far more Arabs than Jews. If Israel can have Jerusalem as it's capital, why can't they give East Jerusalem to the Palestinians. This is an important city to ALL religious people. I agree international control is better, but otherwise there must be a split.

To clear things up: there is no such thing as east Jerusalem; it's referred to as the old city. That area contains almost all of the most religious places to Judaism in the world. Giving it up will basically mean giving up Jerusalem entirely, something that will never happen. Under Israeli law all religious places must be open to all religions.
This will not be the case under Palestinian law (as an example take a look at what happens at the temple mount)

This has nothing to do with Palestine/Israel. The Native Americans and Palestinians are very similar in how they were expulsed. The only difference is that the Native Americans have given up their fight. They have been given the shittiest pieces of land (just like the Paletsinians) and instead they make casinos to make money. I never said that the Arabs were wrong. They have been doing and will continue to do everything in their power to exterminate Israel.
