  • D+M7 is Daug maj 7

  • @alienmusicgod Oh, never seen it written that way but right you are. I've been interrogating the pre-chorus and this is how I hear it. Please tell me if you concur?

    E6/9 / F#, Dflat aug #9/#11 / G, Dmaj7, Bm7, F#add9 / A#, F add9 / A , C#11 / F#,

    G#m7/flat5, D6/9, F#m / C#.

  • @croydene Yep! Some chords are hard to pick out in the mix. 1st Pre hook @:30 is 4/4

    | C#m7/F# | F+M7/G DM7 | Bm7(9) D+M7/Bb C#+M7/A C+M7/G# | G#m7b5 C#+7 | F#m|chorus...It's not the same progression every time and during solo. e.g. It's BM7/F# instead of C#m7/F# I think there's some ambiguity in there, or that's what I hear anyway.

  • @croydene 2nd Pre hook @1:33 is same except 3rd bar is | Bm7(9) E7(9 13) Bbm7(9) Eb7(9 13) | G#m7b5 C#+7 C#+7/G | F#m| etc. The bass is more chromatic than cycle 5 but chords are simulating cycle 5 movement.

If I hear differently on some other mix I will let you know...

  • Nice! fyi-intro/interlude is D+M7 Not Ebm7

  • @alienmusicgod I don't think it's either. I think it's D aug maj7, assuming you talking about beat 1 of 3rd bar.

  • @alienmusicgod Thanks, I heard it when I played the song for myself. But as always, I'm to lazy to record a new one! :)

  • @sjoellak It's all good!

  • awesome dude...especially the solo part
