The US is rated 37th in overall health care worldwide there is no way that could that be considered as "doing pretty good" on any scale. When it comes to personal matters, like health care, I don't want to take out the emotional side of your statement or of the facts that surround the issue. To be blunt the fact that you are able to disconnect and discount the lives of others so easily, sickens me. Rep. Grayson is clear and presents evidence not something commonly done by crazies/republicans

Your numbers are a little off, do your research. If you believe that republicans want people dead then I believe you my friend have a serious mental problem and It saddens me to see that you completely believe everything that is said by the liberals in congress. Yes, Health Care is a personal matter, but you cant let that fact override common sense. PEACE.

I have researched and we are 37th according to WHO we may have great medical care but only if you can afford it and your insurance doesn't cancel your coverage, that shouldn't be acceptable in any society. I believe republicans and corps put profits over lives because they have proven that again and again. Common sense is why anyone should want a system that makes health care available for all.

DOn't believe those numbers..they are skewed and includes abortions and traffic deaths. This Grayson is such a Demagogue that he does not even know what Holocaust is...Democrats are hypocrites,,,they are the ones funding killing babies even before they are born.... Such crooks.

The Harvard Study does not factor in traffic deaths or abortions and I have no idea where you would get such a strange idea the study can be found online and it isn't that hard to understand. Your issues with a legal medical procedure are your own and IMO Rep. Grayson is right losing 40 people a day from a completely preventable cause is a Holocaust.

DarthMai! It does not include traffic deaths and abortions. Cigna has a 38% denial rate and United (and subsidiaries like Pacificare) have an outrageous 40% denial rate. We pay twice as much for HC than any other first world country in the world. The bureaucratic cost alone have a lotto do with why it is so expensive and why so many people die each year. A Nationalized single payer program would be considrably less and more efficient.

Do you prefer to have our taxes increased by 15% then? from 36% to approx. 50-55%. It is like slavery to me!!
