Probably about a person retreating mentally/physically from various perceived hardships from "reality" and society into the relative comforts of this "imaginary" place which is in fact the person's physical room. The room has purple ceilings. The flowers/lullabies could refer to balled up paper used in songwriting (resembling field of flowers) and lullabies being the various lyrics on them (lines in verses = clouds) There are themes present in this song that appear in many of her songs
