Its obvious how hes done this. If you look carefully, he always carefully moves one of the joker cards and its thicket then the other, thus, its more then 1 card (y)

@Hamsandwithc1 its called an elmsley count. the card you dont want the audience to see goes in the 3rd position. move the top card into your other hand then move 2 cards into your other hand (1 of these cards is the secret one). then as you put the last card onto the rest of the cards take the bottom card off the deck and show it as the 4th card. soz for the long explanation :)

When you're teaching tricks like this, I've found people find it easier to follow if you use a different colour cards for the key cards, in this case, the diamonds. The tutorial doesn't get too wordy then either, so it shouldn't take as long to explain longer tricks
