I met President Bush before a private rally in 2004. I was able to talk to him for about 5 minutes privately, he was VERY kind, very big hearted. Asked me how I was doing, how my family was, etc.

I think this was just adorable. many of you people commenting may not agree with me but I think overall Bush was a good president, he definitally did better than Obama is doing now. Bush may have made mistakes in his presidency but no one is perfect. We are all human therefore we make mistakes.

A difficult job is a difficult job. If the economy is in the toilet, if unemployment is up, if there's problems with the military it's all there regardless of the color of his skin. What George and Dick wanted to was put a lot of work, money and soldiers' committment into democratizing Iraq, Afghanistan (and Iran if it were remotely possible then). In WW2, Japan, Germany etc if left alone, would have .. ? (fill in the blank). Bush Cheney set out on an "if only" dangerous mission to stabilize-by-democrasy (The People controlling government, remember?) the Middle East - to free the people, not subjugation.
