  • thats a pig nice fish!!!

  • nice walter, keep it up

  • nice 'eye!

  • would have been nice to see him release it! to big for eat'n, not big enough for hang'n! Nice fish, and nice grab! I hope he bought you a beer for that?

  • Anyone show me ice fishing rigs for tip ups for pike send me a link

    Of ur vid

  • would be glad to give you a precise description of the tackle you would need. That is assuming your tip up fishing. Sorry though no vids

  • ya that is not 27 or 28 inches i caught one way bigger than that it was 34 inches 18 pounds...

  • i say it's 8+ pounds

  • 27 28 inches my ass i caught one way bigger than that and it was 29 and it was 14 pounds so....

  • You dont know anything about walleye do you? An average walleye of 29 inches will go 9-10 pounds MAX. Trust me ive been fishing them my whole life and have won multiple walleye tournaments.

  • @roy4461

Do you know anything about walleye fishing? apparently not or you would know it depends on the body of water. The avg 29 incher on the red river during the fall is around 11. Caught a spawned out female this last spring 27 and a quarter and she was at 9.5lbs after spawning out.

  • last winter we lost a walleye 4 tomes and its eyes where the size of golf balls we think it was a 14 pounder

  • yeah...to many assholes are worried about retreiving their hook... fish have an incredible digestive system that break down them hooks in 2 weeks...IF IT SWALLOWS THE HOOK WHEN UR CATCH AND RELEASING CUT UR DAMN LINE!!!! im sure u can afford a new lure

  • you should try fishing the Bay Of Quinte in Ontario, Canada. the average walleye there is 10lbs and just yesterday i landed one 13lbs 4oz

  • nice canada rulez!

  • Nice catch.

  • depends on where he caught this..i know in ontario we have a slot size that we must let go

  • Jarhead is right! Why bother fishing unless your going to eat the fish. If you want fish to live don't catch them. If you catch them and stress them out, kill it fillet it and eat it! Duh!!!! Have a good time on the ice and be safe!

  • Eat the fish! Walleyes have the perfect body structure for filleting. I love animals too!! Why? because they are made of MEAT.

You people have a catch and release mentality, I have a eat and release philosophy. I eventually release them the next day out of my poop chute..... hhahahahahahahahah

  • Boy, that was so funny and original. You should travel the globe and become famous with a sense of humour like that.

  • Notice you never once see the fish make any movements at all. Probably bought it at a market, threw it on a hook and filmed it

  • you're an idiot

  • that rocked hope you ate that fish yum yum

  • that ain't a big one...in Poland a big walleye means sth like 90cm

  • fuck poland!!!

  • i luv fishing the big boies

  • This is a promotional video. I'll bet the guys in this video have caught hundreds that size. I also bet that they had it on the ice before they even turned the camera on. That Walleye sure came up like it was fatigued. Barely moved after it appeared on camera. The people on fishing shows openly admit they put fish back in the water (still on their lines) and then turn the camera on for a shoot.

PUT THE FUCKING FISH THAT YOU AREN'T GOING TO EAT BACK IMMEDIATELY, YOU IDIOTS. THAT WAS A SPAWNER.

  • ok dumbass.. this already happened and these guys aren't gonna listen to you so do the viewers a favor and go annoy someone else who gives a shit

  • I agree with what you are saying, but do you really think it is necessary to cut your line and not even take out the hook, instead of pulling the fish out of the water for less than a minute to take out your hook? I've fished a long time and I have never had a problem releasing a fish that I took out of the hole. But, regardless, I still admire that you would have put that fish back...not many would!

  • Hi Belleija, I read an article where bass caught by anglers were brought into their boats and immediately released into the lake, but in a huge cage that went all the way to the bottom of the lake. They said the survival rate after 2 days was only around 50%. That's why I like to just cut the hook and retie when I get a big fish on the line. I guess it's the short interruption that kills them.

Now looking at my prior posts in here, I guess I could have been more polite.

  • A Walleye that size is a female spawner. In my opinion, the guy should have just cut the line and let it go. That would have given it it's best chance to survive. I never bring my huge fish into the boat, I just cut the line and re-tie. Does this make my life sad, or mean that I'm not loved? Jeeez...there are some real emotionally challenged people watching fishing videos.

Got to go, got to go have fun because people love me....jeeez

  • cut the line and let it go so its guts get stiched up with a treble hooks and the fish dies!!! I hope you are sad and unloved you fucking twat!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You uneducated, lazy, thick-headed old fool. Do you think the fish dies everytime it breaks the line? They've done experiments with fish in controlled evironments and 100% of the time the hook either disintegrates or eventually comes free from the fishes mouth. Use that ugly head of yours next time before saying something stupid.

And why do you hope that I'm sad and unloved? You looking for company in that department or something? Go lock yourself in a closet

  • you know nothing!

  • Nice comment you left in my channel. Let me educate you further. 90% of the time the hook just ends up in the mouth of the fish. But if it does happen to get into the fish's throat, better to just cut the line rather then leave the fish suffocating while you operate on its throat to free the hook. It's much more likely to survive.

Besides being a demented individual you're also rather ignorant and unable to think rationally, agreed?

    Ain't answering you back, loser.

  • it is true that the hook just disintegrate, if its in its stomach the hydrochloric acid used in digestion breaks down the hook and if it is in its mouth it just rusts and falls a part, remember fish live in WATER.

  • another numpty! :( every heard of stainless steel? thats whats most snap tackle is made out of!!!!!!

  • it can still be broken down over time anyways most of the tackle is just coated not fully stainless steel, and anyways if it makes it to the stomach the stomach acids would take care of it.

  • At all costs, avoid returning a fish with hooks still in place, especially where two or more hooks of a treble have 'stitched' the pike's gullet closed - it will almost certainly die of hunger.

Once you have released your hooks, check to see if there is any sign of someone elses tackle still in the fish.

If you need help or advice don't be afraid to ask nearby anglers sooner, rather than later.

  • yea, true but i dont think alot of ppl would like taking advice from a guy with ur name lol

  • That's a hog.

  • gota a measuring thing ha ha ha

  • I think this walleye the biggest one in all youtube i loved it

  • Someone nneds to pull these fools underwater and have a good laugh while they suffocate, then let them go when they're almost dead. These aren't sportmen. That fish was too big to eat and too small to mount. In the end a good spawner was left to die, killing with it about fifty thousand eggs. Absolute shame on these guys.

  • Freaking american idiot, those are the spawners. You put those back quickly you idiot. That's a minnow compared to the ones I've thrown back

  • Juzu, Post a video if your going to be an asshole to other people, get a life.Nice fish btw man.

  • Okay, if you'll post a video of yourself calling me an asshole, you hypocrite. I stand by what I said. These two killed about fifty thousand Walleys by allowing this one to suffocate while they peed their pants with delight.

  • hey dickwad. you have no fuckin idea if its a spawner or if they put it back after they got a picture.. and if that is literally a minnow compared to the ones you've thrown back then your on another planet and should go back there... because obviously no one on earth loves you so you attack people on the internet... im sorry that your life is that sad.. im gonna go have fun now because i can and because people love me.. later

  • Um, excuse me but have you been reading The Old Man and the Sea over and over again? How did you deduce that no one on earth loves me, just because I don't like watching trophy fish suffocate while two guys get there jollies? R U ok? Sounds like someone is a bit love-starved themself. It was a nice fish...no doubt. Deal with your own issues, and I'll worry about myself if I have to. I hope you snap out of your depression, good luck to you.

  • no one on earth loves you because if they did youd have a feeling of belonging and obviously you dont because once again i say you have to attack people on the internet to feel good because you think your so much damn smarter and what the hell? if i was depressed i wouldn't know that people loved me and i wouldnt give a shit about this video but since im not i decided that i want to chew out dumbasses like you who; for some reason need to put other people down to feel good. put me down if u want

  • 1. U attacked me 1st, so by your own reasoning, U are not loved.

    2. I don't think I'm smarter than anyone. Everyone is smart in their own way.

    3. I do argue a lot on the internet, but mostly with people like you who start shit with me.

    4. Is this your dad in this video? I can understand why you got so mad if this is your dad in this video. I would too.

  • I think i just nutted in my pants! nice walleye man! every fat =]

  • that's a nice size walleye there guy ..can't wait till i pull some of those guys out of the ice....good job..

  • AWSOME WALLEYE. NICE!

  • Really nice fish you guys. I'd say around 25 inches. And you're right - it can't get any better than that.
