  • I love the Hanna-Barbera Animation!!!! Specialy the Creative Productions by Iwao Takamoto!!!! N' Charlotte's Web is one of those. YYEEEEAAAHHHH!!!!!!

  • this is my childhood

  • Man oh man, I better still have this on VHS at my house.

  • i think charlotte is really cute, even for a spider ;)

  • Such a cute little piggy, I know what happens and its so sad =[

  • ahh this destroys that shittty remake. good times

  • 4.99 a pound:) the spider shoulda put that:) I saw it on robot chicken:) hahaha

  • Yeaaah, I'm going to cry.

  • My name is sharlet but spelled differently

  • Such an amazing movie :) .

  • I remember first watching this in kindergarten and being depressed out of my mind! Thank God for the remake which granted was a little bit meloncoly but it wasn't depressing.

  • Did Pamelyn Ferdin become an animal rights activist before or after this film?

  • @KBAFourthtime During filming?

  • @shelbielynnVEVO Really? Nice.

  • That is a very long trailer. It's the whole movie. lol

  • Charlotte is a black widow.~

No. She's a trapper spider. She even mentions it in the novel & alludes to it as part of her daily living in this film by saying, "What with all this trapping & eating flies, a spider's life can't help but be something of a mess. By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my own life a trifle."

  • I prefer this version rather than the live action film from 2006. Too many great memories!

  • @SegaGenesisFan115

If I had to pick, I would probably pick this version too.

  • 0:46 Actually, it was a gosling.

  • This is such a lovely film. The songs are classics and the story so touching.

I remember seeing this version at the cinema, in widescreen with fantastic surround sound and good picture quality. What on earth has happened to this original release. The subsequent DVD + VHS releases have had poor video quality and only mono sound.

  • @lindner1001 Really? That's freakin' awesome! Too bad I never got to experience the awesomeness that you did.

  • charlotte's web released 6/12/1973

  • I saw this as a kid and loved it and of course cried at the end. But seeing it here after all these years and realizing that it was just a cheapo Hanna-Barbera thing is a bit of a letdown. Paul Lynde is still the greatest, though.

  • You probably-obably could if you try.

    <3

  • Awe the memories

  • Just realized, after so many years, that the voice of Wilbur is the same guy who did Eleroo from Wuzzles!

  • July 11, 2011 Happy birthday E.B. White!

This was one of my favorite childhood movies.

  • this is a damn long trailer

  • "The happiest movie of the year." I wouldn't call poor Charlotte dying at the end happy.

  • Isn't Charlotte just gorgeous? Absolutely beautiful! For a spider I meant.

  • ...ahh my childhood movie!!

  • i almost got a heart attack when i heard the pig said...... "I CAN TALK!"

  • @GarlandFraser & Icantforgetnow: I thought the same thing, but i dont even think Seth McFarlene was alive then, or he was just a toddler. Crazy shit though. Sounds JUST like him. That's why i YouTubed this

  • Gods Sakes! Can I find an adaptation that's completely faithful to the Novel? Also American Dad's Roger as Templeton?

  • @GarlandFraser omg i thought the same thing, but not him.

  • @GarlandFraser Creepy, i thought the exact same thing lol

  • @GarlandFraser: Paul Lynde.

  • @TherealRNO Wasn't he a comedian?

  • Gods Sakes! Can I find an adaptation that's completely faithful to the Novel?

  • This used to make me cry as a kid. I love this movie so much.

  • @ythegreat i know right!!The same!

I'm definitely gonna get the sound track and put it on my Ipod.

  • I was born in 1990 and I loved this movie when I was old enough to watch it. It was so touching and amazing. It made you feel so warm inside

  • Charlotte is a black widow -- a maneater. Pass it on. Along with Mister Potato Head is A Jew.

  • Duckling? Happiest motion picture of the year? Were they watching the same film as the rest of us?

  • MY NAMES CHARLOTTE XD

  • I love this story

  • This was my favorite movie as a kid !

That rat scene at the fair is so goo ! haha

  • damn, i love this book......

  • This is my favorite movie, but "Happiest motion picture of the year" is false advertisement. I mean, for the most part it is very happy, and the story is beautiful, and happy. But I always bawl my eyes out when Charlotte dies. And I'm an arachnophobic.

  • I wish someone would upload the whole thing...

  • this was way better than the second one

  • Templeton`s what`s in it for me line is why after after all these years why this movie is for kids AND adults

  • Yes! this is "some movie"!

  • this is basically my favorite animated movie, classic.

  • "I'll get you Penelope Pitstop"

  • Now, why can't I find this gem on Youtube? :(

  • @snowmuzzle Fucking PISSES me off, goddammit!

  • Chin up and just buy the DVD. Its going for less than a cheap pizza on Amazon right now. It'll look better than some split up, compressed and interlaced Youtube version, too.

  • @SparkyMK3 Well, we got an old one, ww got ours back when people still watched videos, now it's all DVD's.

    BUT I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!
