Now I know how lucky I am for having a wonderful parents.
I wish I can also go to my parents' home, hug my old father and mother and whisper to them that I love them. But I am thousands of miles away.

Any father can remember the first time his child held on to his finger. Every yawn, every smile and every move the child does is a precious moment. A father's heart beat extra hard upon hearing the word "pa", "da", "ma" in any language or dialect. They are grown-ups now but I can still see the lines in their little palms, the smell of their breath and the extra little thing they needed.
The youngest of my 3 children said something to me last month that made my heart heavy and until now, I am feeling sad and melancholy. He told me that he is thinking of living in Switzerland. He speaks and reads French and in the last year of his Ecomomics and Accounting course at one university in Toronto. I wish I can tell him if he can delay his leaving until my death. Children don't know how precious they are to their parents, whatever their faults and frailties..
