(Actually, Christina sounds pretty nice when she simply sings like she did in her first album and with "Beautiful." But in recent years, she thinks riffing, screaming, shooting, and shaking her jaw 100 mph is more impressive than singing).
celine dion is one of the greatest belters around, she can belt without screaming and screaching. well christina can kind of belt too, but it always ends up in a scream or a horrible screachy and growly sound. plus celine has so much melody and intensity when she sings. christina kind of just sounds big and loud and her singing is very one-dimensional. she definitely has a bigger voice than celine, but celine is a whole lot the better singer.
Christina dreams about being as good as Celine. No comp, I like Christina too, but the tone of Celine's voice is one of the best ever, if not the best from a women.
Celine is in a class of her own and Celine sings as for Christina she just yells and can't hold a sustained note for more that a few seconds, Celine all the way

Celine has the best voice because she actually has a very powerful vibrato, where as Christina, her voice is unique, but it only sounds good because she just, I don't know, like say Celine holds a note, "yeaaaaaaaa~~~~~~~~~~~~~(vibrato)" and Christina just goes "yeahyeahyeahyeahyeahyeah" while she just says yeah on different notes to make her voice sound powerful.
Btw, Celine said in an interview with Tyra Banks that in her opinion, Christina was one of the best singers out there and had one of best voices (something like that), so for all the people who need to create two seperate "teams" (-_-'), Celine would probably be on Christina's side...
Christina seems to make more riffs when she sings, wich is sometimes confused with a proof of talent when it's actually not really. In this case though, it absolutely shows how much she knows how to use her voice, I think. But someone can make super fast and super cut riffs on quite a large scale, but it's more of a show of that anything else. You can use all that to hide a pretty "meh" voice (and I'm NOT saying that it is the case for any of these two girls!!)
Two amazing incredible vocalists who can sing the hell out of anything, and almost 8 minutes of eargasm. But I'm gonna have to go with Celine on this one. Christina can sing, but Celine has the control that Christina doesn't. I love both of them though. :D

If you're only counting technicality, Celine is better because she actually sings the notes within her belting range. Xtina doesn't actually sing several of her notes, rather yells them. But as far as vocal range goes, I think they are very similar.

For me Celine is the best singer in the world and I don't care that people think she sings with is nose ... I love is voice nose ... or call it like you want! And judging from the number of albums sold in her career I'm not alone! And I'm sure others prefer Christyna ... but not me. And no one is forced to buy her album or listen to her songs so stop crying and do as I; hear that you like!

Ineed to sing with ur nose it's not singing, but when u sing with ur vocal chords here your r singing, even if I had to admit that sometimes Xtina oversings and sings with "the back of her throat"! But it's better to hear Xtina singing than hearing celine barking! And more everybody knows that Xtina has voice and a stronger voice not like celne who founds her power in her noise! @underworld91200 Im sorry but Xtina is a poor singer who creates an affected unatural sound by singing in the back of her throat which leads to straining in nearly every performance. Her range is forced her runs out of sync and her low notes are airy and bad. She has volume but no ability beyond that

@underworld91200 IF she had a good technique then why does nearly always have a scratchy rasp at the end of her belts which is a textbook sign of straining, how come her low notes are breathy and inaudible, how come her notes are unressonating and filter out, how come she doesnt sing in the masc but curls her tounge back creating a fake big sound. How come her melimismas are out of sync with the melody. And I'm sorry that 'whistel note' was a thin shrill unressonating head voice note

If you're only counting technicality, Celine is better because she actually sings the notes within her belting range. Xtina doesn't actually sing several of her notes, rather yells them. But as far as vocal range goes, I think they are very similar.

I like Christina over Celine, but everybody can hear that Celine has the better technique. She's in her 50s and has been singing professionally since she was 13. Christina's only 30 and her voice is already showing signs of wear and tear. The other thing is, Celine doesn't throw her voice around as much as Christina. Her runs and long notes tell a story. While I love her, about 90% of Christina's runs are just about show-boating and scale-running.

She have a double singer carer, one in english and a another in french. If you can understand the lyrics with the music and Celine voice of her french songs, they are pearls.
