I met Ian in the '90s at a gig he was playing in Northampton, he was using the toilet and I tried the handle to get in and he shouted 'oi!' then a few seconds later came out and I said 'that was quick' and he replied 'still the slowest shit I ever had'. :)

I saw him in Paradiso/Amsterdam not long before he died.

He had to be carried up and of stage and his voice was weaker, but i'll neve forget that show & the power of this man !!!!
