How much does something like that cost? It looks like it doesn't have a far range, or the pilot just wanted to keep it close for the camera ...from the looks of the remote, it probably as difficult to fly as on in a simulator.

If the scale is 1/4 it means that all three (length, width,height) are 4 times smaller, that means the mass it can carry is 4^3 times smaller, which is 1/64 of the original mass.

beautifully built and beautifully flown....scale in every respect, this is how all rc helis should be finished and flown, i know people have fun with the 3 D thing, but honestly i get tired of seeing a "pogo" stick bouncing around in the sky on crack! lol...i know it takes great deal of skill to do those things but when is the last time you saw your local heli flying over head doing this?? if this Lama was used for a movie no one would know that it was an rc heli!

That's an amazing model. But you should be taking off like a real helicopter. You want to be moving forward at all times including take off in case you have an engine failure. Then you still have some lift to land it. You don't want to crash that beautiful masterpiece!
