No offence, all I was saying is that its important to have vak suddhi when you portray something that many people will listen to and attempt to learn from. You clearly have the wherewithal to create such videos why not do it with someone who has perfect diction too, making it a perfect gift for all devotees.
Well, unless you tell me the 'mistakes' you found in this diction, it cant be made better. Among all the people who have listened to his and commented, you are the only one who has problems with it.
I and many others are ok with this 'vak sudhdhi' and I believe this is a perfect gift. If you can better it, be my guest.
I think you are not taking this in the right spirit. You clearly see nothing wrong nor are you even contemplating if there is something that needs to be improved, so please let me not affect you. By offering everything to the Lord, he takes away all the mistakes or papas. Kayena vacha manasendriyairva buddhyatamanava prakrutey swabhavat karomi yadyat sakalam parasmai sriman narayanayeti samarpayami.
I am taking it in the right spirit. Honestly, I dont see anything wrong and hence I dont need to even contemplate. I have been asking you to let me know the concerns you have with this diction but you have been doing everything but that.
You are not affecting me at all. I put up videos simply because I love doing it. I make videos only of those songs that I have listened and liked.
Please listen to MS Subbalakshmi's rendition and follow closely. Any good priest at a Venkateshwara temple can also help. Through email I cannot correct your diction much as I would love to. I appreciate your deep desire to grow spiritually and make such offerings available as you say in your comments and your profile. Its hard work and takes tremendous perseverance.
Of course, MSS's rendition is amazing and I have no disputes with that. That is pure and divine carnatic 'classical music.' while this is plain chanting of a shloka. You are comparing apples and oranges here.
the supreme LORD does NOT REQUIRE SO CALLED VAK SUDDHI.
The GITA which is itself gift of LORD SHRI MAHA VISHNU says : ".. whatever is the offering made to to LORD VISHNU be it PUSHPA, PATRAM, FALAM, he accepts its for it comes from the BHAKTAS pure soul". So as long as bhakti is pure, and not tamsic it does not matter.
I agree pronouciation can be incorrect BUT we need to LOOK AT BHAKTI here, ELSE you are proclaiming AHANKAR!
I think the diction is very clear contrary to some earlier spoilsport's opinion. Your dedication is quite evident.

What exactly is a "strota" I was always wondering about that. Is it the same thing as a chant?

Pronounciation needs improvement. Saying it slowly does not make mistakes any better. The video is absolutely beautiful.

Then why don't you say it and put it up for everyone's benefit.

Hi Irfan, It is in Sanskrit.
justprams 4 years ago
Telugu is directly Related to Sanskrit.
Those Who argue of Dravidian languages different from Aryan, Telugu serves as Best Example to disprove them.
humbleRaj 4 years ago 9
Tamil is not related to Sanskrit. Telugu, Kannada and other South Indian languages are more modern compared to Tamil and Sanskrit.
No one calls Telugu as Dravidian language.
