man i aspire to your videos i bought a whole carp set up mostly down to your videos havent had a propper chance to use it yet but honestly keep making these vids im only 13 and most my age think its boring but i dont. Tight lines.
ha ha tht was blunt....ure vids are pukka im hooked... excuse the pun ... im off out on friday to test some new rigs out i found one that extends and eliminates spring back when the carp suck the bait so we'll see how it goes.. .. ive been fishing for oo 7 8 years now on a syndicate and ive only ever seen 4 fish 20+ out.. mine was 20.2 the biggest was 31.7 seeing you catch all these lovely carps has inspired me 2 get my head down n do some serious carpin'
Did you know at 4.50 when your weighing the Carp you are holding the scales at the sides with actualy makes the fis heavier so if you want a truw measurement you need to hold thebit at the top.
I live in Holland and i fish for carp too. my largest is about 16 pounds... and 82 cm, here in holland we dont look for the pounds but for the centimeters. I really want to catch a 30 pounder, its my dream to catch it. In the summer i mabye will catch one, im going to french.
again, i really like your videos, i learn from them, i see some nice carp (and bream).
pukka fish carpcatcher nice one if only i had ur luk i did my first night fis last week n managed too only get a 16 and managed too lose 4 fish due to snags etc.... but as im only a junior its still good fun too be at the lakeside in amongst the fish but well done for that mirror and nice too have a bream for a change ehh? i did my first batch of homemade boilies in october and managed too land an 8lb bream on them and i was well chuffed with the change so i bet you were too.
your videos are always a joy to watch mate, keep up the good work. But just one thing if you have a weigh bar always use it as weighing fish the way you did in this tape is inaccurate, not trying to show you the way but I think like me you will probably like to keep accurate records.
Your right and I spotted the mistake in holding the scales while I edited the film and came to the conclusion that the weight recorded at 23.4lb is not correct. So I did an experiment with a 10kg bag of bait and came up with an error of 2-8 ounces.
I felt it was ok to leave it in this episode and gave it no more thought.
Of course I knew it would be picked up on and I think it's a good lesson for us all eh.
In the heat of the moment when your adrenaline is pumping you make little mistakes.
really good to see tho m8 ...you really look after the fish you catch ashame more people didnt
