Vergil obviously was a spirit that travelled, and at some point, during the war Nero mysteriously was apart of, and where he GOT the arm, Vergil joined with him. The arm explains his demonic corruption in Nero's human body. It also explains why VERGIL's more mature devil trigger is floating above Nero when Nero "devil triggers"

Vergil had Nero (Nelo/Nero in Japan if you get the ref) before dmc3 and plus dmc1 is between 3&4 so even though Vergil had fought and lost against Mundus he knew that his legacy wouldn't die :P

Nero is Sparda's descendent. Sparda probably wedded a woman ages ago, and some time later (it could be a 100 year gap) Nero is born, directly relating him to sparda. This explains his higher than human abilities even before the devil power is awakened within him. And Yamato responded BECAUSE Nero is related to Sparda. After all Yamato was given to Vergil by Sparda. I have noticed, the swords repond to Sparda's blood which runs through his sons veins, and in Nero's case the family connection.
I'm not totally sure why, but I thought that Nero's big blast was what turned Agnus into the bug-man when I first saw this. I know how he does it now, though.

Nero IS Vergil's son. Remeber when Vergil was in Fortuna he was LOOKING for something. My guess was a woman loyal to have his son. Remember Vergil is the ONLY one who respects his father and his ways. Both have the same attitude, attire, (kind of) hair style, and plus when Nero holds the yamato it blinks red and blue. (awesome effects ^-^) and behind him is Nelo Angelo. =D Nero rocks. But the red queen looks weird BUT i love the motorcycle effects, ^^
The Yamato is Vergil's devil arm, therefore it is Vergil's demonic power and soul manifested within the blade itself, somehow from DMC1, when Vergil's soul disperse from the demonic armor, maybe is soul was able to sperse with the Yamato, in other words allowing is demonic powers to manifest within the Yamato, sealing his powers as a wandering soul.
I believe that Nero got his powers somehow from Vergil. Although I am well aware that Virgil himself didn't posses this power in particular, this is Sparda's power and Vergil being his son it's possible that he transfered it to Nero. Nero says himself that voice inside him told "Power, give me more power" and that's something Vergil would say :) I might be wrong tho'. I read somewhere that Nero got his power in some woods when he fought a demons so it all makes sense in a way :P.
umm the last bit is true but actualy no... Nero didn't get his powers from Vergil cause one of the devils he fought had something like the DevilBringer instead of his arm and he was the only one who hit nero of all of those demons so when he hiy him with the DB like arm it caused the birth of DevilBringer

I guess so. According to the references made by Sanctus (the old geezer), Nero is supposedly a descendant with Sparda's blood so yes, he's also part demon. His origin is not exactly known by many though he is "hinted" to be directly related to Vergil. it has yet to be revealed where Capcom is planning to take this.

Nero is Sparda's descendent. Sparda probably wedded a woman ages ago, and some time later (it could be a 100 year gap) Nero is born, directly relating him to sparda. This explains his higher than human abilities even before the devil power is awakened within him. And Yamato responded BECAUSE Nero is related to Sparda. After all Yamato was given to Vergil by Sparda. I have noticed, the swords repond to Sparda's blood which runs through his sons veins, and in Nero's case the family connection.

Capcom leaves a lot plot holes, in the novel it states that nero is vergils son (argue with someone else, i dont care) and that in this scene when nero is stabbed he saw some visions and vergil, he asked what does the voice whisper to you, Nero pushed back the question and asked Vergil the same, Vergil replied:Power, i want more power. So Nero replied: I'll take that too. (I dont care, dont argue with me, it's what's written in the novel)

also, dante "refers" to nero being in the family, he says, (about yamato) "that sword once belonged to my brother..... it needs to stay in the family. and he later gives it to nero, thinking him as worthy.

he is vergils son, one of the capcom guys said in an interview, its not offical though...yet. but this is basically the unshown seen (as of yet) of when vergil and dante loose their mother to a demon, and later vergil says, power, give me more power. basically being vergils son, he is unwilling to let anyone of his family die, though he does not yet know of his relation to dante and vergil.

that blue beutiful powerfull aura that sorrounds Neros back is what caught my attention...i like vergile but hes too cool i mean he takes everything striaght and right.he dosent slack or mock his opponents when his fighting.neros just ok with me but he has that idiot kyrie girl he cares about which is pulling him back and it annoys me if she wasnt there itd be fine with me neros would be my fav.however wen his father vergile comes back....

Nero IS Vergil's son. Remeber when Vergil was in Fortuna he was LOOKING for something. My guess was a woman loyal to have his son. Remember Vergil is the ONLY one who respects his father and his ways. Both have the same attitude, attire, (kind of) hair style, and plus when Nero holds the yamato it blinks red and blue. (awesome effects ^-^) and behind him is Nelo Angelo. =D Nero rocks. But the red queen looks weird BUT i love the motorcycle effects, ^^

The Yamato is Vergil's devil arm, therefore it is Vergil's demonic power and soul manifested within the blade itself, somehow from DMC1, when Vergil's soul disperse from the demonic armor, maybe is soul was able to sperse with the Yamato, in other words allowing is demonic powers to manifest within the Yamato, sealing his powers as a wandering soul.

I believe that Nero got his powers somehow from Vergil. Although I am well aware that Virgil himself didn't posses this power in particular, this is Sparda's power and Vergil being his son it's possible that he transfered it to Nero. Nero says himself that voice inside him told "Power, give me more power" and that's something Vergil would say :) I might be wrong tho'. I read somewhere that Nero got his power in some woods when he fought a demons so it all makes sense in a way :P.

Nero didn't get his powers from Vergil cause one of the devils he fought had something like the DevilBringer instead of his arm and he was the only one who hit nero of all of those demons so when he hiy him with the DB like arm it caused the birth of DevilBringer

I see, well It was a long time since I've played the game, but I do recall that someone mentioned in the game that Nero had "Power of Sparda" so that's why I assumed that he and Virgil could be related... Guess I could've been wrong :) Haven't played DMC 1, which I'm trying to get now... I've only played 3&4. At any rate our assumptions are pointless( Yours is probably true :) )since it'll be the makers of DMC who'll decide how to explain it :).Hope that what I wrote is understandable :P :) xD .

I guess so. According to the references made by Sanctus (the old geezer), Nero is supposedly a descendant with Sparda's blood so yes, he's also part demon. His origin is not exactly known by many though he is "hinted" to be directly related to Vergil. it has yet to be revealed where Capcom is planning to take this.
