  • Did anyone else catch the Icon Bronco next to Craig. I guess great carmakers sample each other's wares.

  • If ppl dont like upgrading classic car chassis they need to b a car collector... LOL

  • I really like this report! Interesting stuff.

Plus you are decent and give them a handshake instead of som gangstah pose or whatever.

  • Upgrading classic cars with modern tech is just not right. Ought to appreciate it as it is - a piece of auto history.

  • They have one of these guys cars in Gran Turismo 5 :) .

(I can't remember what model it is, but i've definitely seen their brand symbol - possibly it was one done up for SEMA.)

  • @tanner1ie it was the 60s Corvette

  • Was that the ICON Bronco @4:15?!?

  • @Choncho661 i saw that too, i believe it is. Very exciting

  • Thank you for the video, thumbs up.

  • I find it ironic this video is proceeded by a Camry commercial..

  • just a reccomendation matt, can you stop being such a rude shit? You don't need to touch everything and throw shit down in the parts section

  • Awesome look at a legendary shop. Let's hear it for the Northwest! Come back soon, Matt.

  • cool video

Its great to see how they make this stuff.

  • Keep cranking out the good stuff Matt and "Drive"! Excellent job!

  • Why don't they just hire Bender?

  • Art & Craig are my heros! Best in the business! They have built me over 50 chassis and I look forward to the next 500! JW

  • Can anyone give me the suspension settings for this car in GT5?

  • @snakesinmypants It's called Google..

  • My favorite part of the Drive network. This is awesome.

  • Do they ever make aluminum space frame? Something more modern and lighter?

  • You guys are doing a great job. Yes, some fine tuning is needed, but you nailed the format(s). I await your videos more anxiously than any "x-Gear" episode.

  • Comment removed

  • Does anyone else find it kind of disrespectful that Matt doesn't remove his gloves to shake hands with people let alone remove his hat when entering the shop.

  • @ReggyRay289

The 1920s called. They want their etiquette back.

  • @carnut666 lol.

  • I live next to these guys how awesome is that!? Im going to go work for them for free.

  • I have to agree with apinner. The video quality is very good but the music is sometimes out of place. For example, the part where Matt and Craig are walking through the stock room (7:40 on) and up until the end of the video, the music feels like it was made for a horror film. In fact the stock room did not need any music at all.

  • an art morrison rolls royce would be amazing!

  • oh my god the welds on those things are beautiful...

  • This very well may be the best channel on youtube

  • now thats the American auto industry that i love and missed... family owned and fueled by passion for cars

  • tuned is my favorite

  • 4:06 -- Is that an Icon Bronco in lower left hand corner? If so, what are the Morrison boys doing with it?

  • @bordenwesley You can order an ICON with an Art Morriso chassis if you check the option box for "fuckin awesome!"

  • @Logicalification Most excellent!

  • @bordenwesley - We have been doing the chassis for ICON for some time. The Bronco was up at the shop for some suspension tuning.

  • What's the story with the Icon Bronco in the background?

  • @jsingleton17 All I know is that the headlights are J.W. Speaker Model 8700's I have a pair and will soon be doing a review of them, an unboxing can be found by searching for p2designtechnologies on youtube :)

  • @jsingleton17 Art Morrison designed the Chassis for the icon bronco and it's back in their shop for a few suspension tweaks before they go to production. We were going to drive it, but it's a sold vehicle so we couldn't take it out in the hailstorm that was happening outside.

  • @TheSmokingTire Understood. In any case, I think it would be great if you devoted an episode to Icon. The level craftsmanship and detail they put into their vehicles is on par with some of the most boutique coach makers. Casual enthusiasts need to be exposed to this kind of quality and dedication to a single project. This is why I admire Randy Grubb so much. He is a true enthusiast and a real automotive artist.

  • Video is laging, is that just me?

  • Chassis is said 'shazzy' not 'chassy'...

  • @pokinacha in America, it's a hard sound, "chassie" is correct.

  • Very Nice video.... Love this kind of videos, looks like a "behind the scenes"

  • ayy tom morningstar, fix the sound! you are the best automotive video man out there, your videos deserve better sound than this

  • Matt Farah is my second favorite @ Drive; after Leo. Matt makes all the info and tech understandable and engaging. Thanks Matt, for rocking!

  • @ruigoncalves2 I don't think a guy who buys some parts has a legal expectation of privacy.

  • This was the first of your videos I was excited to watch. Why did you guys skip over what they actually do? This felt like a watered down factory tour, and I didn't learn a thing.

  • Cool video. Can you do a segment on Underground Racing?

  • did he just violated the privacy of some Japanese client by saying his address? lol

  • I like all your videos, but I don't understand why you don't upload them in Full HD!

  • 4:10 ICON bronco very nice!!

  • Soooooooo, these guys are still putting beam axles on the back of there cars?

  • @eatmydustdusteaters On the back of their cars from the 50s and 60s? So that people can use a lot of the parts they have on their car already? Yes, yes they are.

  • @Logicalification Oh, of course. When they said they wanted the cars to handle like a modern car what they meant was a modern American car, I forget that you guys are still 20 years behind on the suspension side of things.

  • @eatmydustdusteaters The 3g Corvette they built, from 1960, can achieve over 1g on a skid pad. That's higher than MOST cars, INCLUDING european cars. The cost involved in changing it to an independent rear end would be huge, and that Corvette is already costing about $300,000. I agree independent rear is best, but when you're upgrading a 60 year old car to the level these guys get, why bitch about it?

  • Hey Matt thanks for spending so much time in the Northwest, I feel like we are the forgotten states.

  • Wish you guys would sort out the sound! Camera work is spot on but your mixing is always all over the place.

  • @apinner Word.

    \

  • @apinner glad I'm not the only one noticing & urging an improvement to audio across all of the Drive (& FLD) shows.

  • not exactly weight optimized. and not exactly aerodynamic cars

  • @DanFrederiksen But desirable all the same.

  • @DocWolph not to someone who understands the significance of efficiency

  • are you guys gonna go to underground racing in NC by any chance? their shop looks amazing

  • 4:10 Icon Bronco, these boys have goood taste.

  • anyone see the icon bronco?

  • tits n ass

  • How did this video replace the SHAKEDOWN video in my subscriptions?

  • I just hit the like button before watching because when Art Morrison is involved I know I´ll like it

  • I live 5 min away from this place. No one cares :(
