Me too. When I first heard it on the JD live album, I didn't even realize it was a Beatles tune. The song is very much in the style of JD, which shows you the range the Beatles had.
Terrible version. Completely misses the point of the song.

This is one of Paul's songs he wrote in India when the Beatles stayed with The Maharishi. The song is on The White Album.

I knew John Denver's version of this song and I really liked it. I didn't imagine it was the Beatles' too. Great job anyway, keep 'em coming!

I first learned this song from John Denver. He would play it in his live concerts back in the 70s.
