Wanna know what running shoe to get? Problem solved with the new iPhone Application called ‘Wet Test’ on iTunes. If there’s a shoe for you we will find it.
I love running, I just competed in a mile competition at my school, I took 4th place and my time was 6: 37, it's a lot of pressure when ppl are watching you but for some reason it's so fun.
@terrapatra ok, well I looked it up and running 40miles in 1:50 min is running a 2:45 mile pace, that's lapping the guy who set the world record in the mile as a pace for your so called "40mile run" when you were 14 years old...... False!
i used to go out for one really long run once a week, it was a 40 mile distance and it took 1 hour 50 minutes to complete and when it was really hot out my clothes would literally be soaked in sweat and i would lose at least 20 pounds but i quit running because it turned me into a twig and its really not the greatest sport ever, i think powerlifting, strongman, and olympic lifting are the greatest sports because they dont turn you into a twig
@metsrule107 damn i had a really good long comment but stupid youtube keeps saying error, try again so im just going to tell you, its easy to not wanna remain a skinny weakling, i think its more of a sport for the women than the men
@westyn yeah it was 40 miles, i looked on a map, i know because i ran from inside of my city to the next city and back and i had a watch with me, i recorded my times on paper and you know how much you sweat when its like plus 30 outside and your running for almost 2 hours with only one bottle of water, i lost like half that weight during the winter time also its much harder to run during the winter
@terrapatra this guy is obviously a tool. it is humanly impossible to run 40 miles under 2 hours, thats like 3 minutes a mile, which is 43 seconds faster than the world record in the mile. it also humanly impossible to lose 20 pounds too, you would be dead you idiot now gtfo
@imflyfyi well i was 6ft tall for that whole 2 years that i was a runner, 14-16 years old and i had long legs so maybe thats how i did it , im 6ft4 right now so if i got back into running i could run faster also usain bolt is 6ft5 and doesnt even have to run full speed and he always wins
@imflyfyi I didn't finish reading these posts but that kid is talking all kinds of nonsense.....OH I ran 40 miles in less than 2 hours !!! and I dont like running cuz it turned me to a twigg durrrr duh durrr.... what a reject. He obviously is just trying to get acceptance and TRYing to be cool. He has no idea of common sense or sanity, or running. :)
@terrapatra Hey moron, You do realize that NO HUMAN BEING had ever broken 2 hours in the MARATHON. Which is 26.2 miles buddy. So for you to say you could do 40 miles in less than 2 hours is, COMPLETE... BULL $#!T
You are great!! I'm training for my first Marathon! The Rome city Marathon. I never run before, but i'm training really seriously...and i really appreciate your video!
Jezze.. I have a whole counter in my room dedicated to all of my medals and a whole caninet of running clothes. deffinatly prefer nike's. Love running. If your running near a grass field try bare foot.
Your an amazing soul!! I can't believe the passion that you have for running, it is not only unbelievable, but motivational and inspiring! Awesome video, very well done!! =]
i'm a long distance runner and have been since the age of 12,, and i'd jus like to say you've made this sport look even more borin than chess.. killd it
lmao, i probably fall under that category, but this girl is forgetting about the msot important things such as stretching, to get that long stride out at the begining!
i am a long distance runner and the night before a big race a eat a good meal then the day of i only eat oat meal and drink egg whites...it is good because you don't have a lot of heavy food sitting on your stomach
i like this video, it tells my story only, im 15 and well i dont have a billion t shirts, but i totally get what you mean, and i personally do think that long distance running is a hard thing, but the goodness that comes from it is that i get better everyday, and i stay completely fit!
oh and i get to eat almost anything i want, but i do eat healthy, most of the time.
I agree 100% being a long distance runner myself! However, I disagree on the 'healthy diet' part. I love loading up on pizza, soda, french fries and fried chicken before long runs. No joke. I treadmill train 7 miles daily, sometimes more.
