I'm hoping to get a new video up sometime soon as this rustler is now running a 2800Kv XL can motor geared 20/40 on up to 6S lipo, its pretty insane but so so fun haha

Were you breaking hub carriers or A-arms mor often

i broke alot more A arms, ive managed to break all 4 arms and have replaced them with RPM and still managed to snap the rear arms, but theres not really any other options other than RPM, deffinatly dont want aluminum

ive now upgraded the carriers to RPM aswell, ive broken one rear one but they seem pretty strong

I never broke an aarm on my slash and only broke 1 hub carrier. My main prob was the axles. I heared M.I.P made aluminum ones but I could never find them

the slash is alot tougher for sure, got alot more protection from the shell and bumpers. i got a slash 4x4 PE coming soon :D

by axles do you mean the actual axles the wheel and hex bolt on to?im running FLM CVDs and they come with thicker axles, dont think i will ever break them

The thing that you emediatly need to upgrade on the slash is shocks. The stock ones bend so easily that I was afrade to jump it high untill I got the big bores. And for the axle thing yes. What website do you get the cvds at?

the pink ones running a Mamba max ESC, feigao 9L motor on a turnigy 3S lipo

nothing extra needed to make it work

and the other ones running an EZ run 3900Kv combo on the same lipos

its just because its running a 1/8 sized motor and steel CVDs as the stockers kept twisting off the yokes

im running the traxxas steel geared diffs yeah, got an FLM aluminum diff on the way though, should keep the gears meshed better

You broke the RPM a-arms : o...those rustlers are TUFF! I am a nitro guy, but with the weight of nitro cars I don't think they can be extreem bashed like that(for to long)...

nah i didnt break any RPM arms, i broke the stock arms then had to swith to RPM arms which i had. the problem with the RPMs is they flex too much then my driveshafts bend
