Pamela was on a mission that launched today but back in 2002. STS112 launched Oct 7. I had a chance to meet her in a post mission briefing. Great lady. Great Astronaut. STS112 was my FIRST LAUNCH ever live at KSC since moving from Los ANgeles.

Except for the music, this is a wonderful montage of Pamela's career. She was the best of the female astronauts.
