it still blows my mind that two of my favourite stand ups used to be in this double act successfully and I didn't even know about their history until I youtubed it. I've seen Stewart Lee once and Richard Herring 3 times and only now has it occurred to me that these stand ups used to be a double act. Incredible days.

I'm glad they've quit the double act, just because it will be funnier when they get back together. Like Lee said in interview, if they re-do it when they're like 80, it'll be hilarious.

A lot of people in the comments are struck by how different Stewart Lee appears from the 30yrold Adonis they recall from their teens. The horrors of time have confronted them, and they are petrified for their future selves. Consider the lillies of the field. They aren't afraid of getting pot bellies and losing all their hair, are they?

And anyway, lillies can't even get pot bellies because they produce their energy from combining carbon dioxide and sunlight in a process called photosynthesis, they have a zero fat diet and they don't even have hair, actually. They have pistils. So not aaaah. Not aaah, at all.

Rugged? Dashing? What planet are you on? He doesn't look as old or saggy as lee, but he's still a lank-haired blob. Stewart Lee used to look so cool with that teddy boy quiff, if he lost some weight and got rid of those disgusting doc martins he would look fucking good, I think.

Collings is'nt Stewart Lee, but he doesnt pretend to be. He doesn't consider himself a comedian either - but he makes a great opposite to Rich's humour, i like the bloke, and Rich wouldnt work with someone without reason. Their podcasts work great i think
