Why the fuck do people use these creature crafts? I don't care how cracked-up-to-be their safety is, no0one is going to strap me inside of a big raft and then send me down a rapid. First, it gives the rafter no reason to run a safe route, and second, it's inherently dangerous because the rafter is strapped inside. I think these things are deathtraps, and it's only a matter of time (if it hasn't happened already) that someone dies in one of these things.
