  • le tableau a la fin de la deuxième variation et de la début de la troisième n'appartient à Monet :) C'est ça?

  • he loves himself too much to play bach...

  • superb fellas!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm in complete awe. My favorite artist, my music, so beautifully done. Namaste.

  • I don't agree with mixing impressionist boxes with bach...

  • @devize92 Probably the best combination would be Bach with Rembrandt.

  • Thank you for making these available! And it's interesting to see Monet (and Renoir later, ?) to the series, indeed why not? there may be an affinity, a lightness, an airiness and something in the rhythms.. I discovered KJ's playing a couple of hours ago because a friend in India wrote me an email telling me he was listening to this recording as he wrote ( and I value his musical sense).

  • @versein I thought every picture were Monet's. Which one is not Monet?

  • @codonauta , I think you're right, of the three pictures, the one attributed to Renoir is by Monet, probably.

  • Superb!

An exquisite interpretation of a great master on a genious one.

One of my my favourite pieces de resistance.

  • placed into my playlist of Claude Monet... thanks

  • This is actually only the aria and the first four variations. Thanks again for posting though, I just bought the album.

  • Yes, you're right. I never was good in math. - counting 4 as 5. :o)

The video has the Aria and variations 1 to 4.

Thanks for the observation. I gonna to correct that.

  • Haha no sweat, i used to do the same thing. I would always count the aria as v. 1. I'm trying to decide now if I should buy the rest of Keith Jarrett's Bach albums. =P

  • Probably my next video, which I set variations 6 to 12 is wrong too.

I have Jarrett's recordings of Well Tempered Clavier vol 1 and 2. Vol 1 played at the piano, the vol. 2 at harpsichord. In my channel you find some of these recordings. I think it's worth.

One person which made a comment in one of my videos said his recording of Handel's keyboard works are excellent too. I don't know these.

  • @codonauta Yes Jarrett's Handel is very fine indeed....

  • Muy buena la interpretación.Pese al gran talento de Glenn Gould o Daniel Baremboim,me quedo con el clave y dentro del clave con Gustav Leonhardt.Sin embargo, excelente lo oído.

  • Most of the people doesn't know these Bach/Jarrett recordings. Even I know them by chance, because a professor of mine showed us in a class at the University once.

  • Thanks a million for posting this! Awesome interpretation, best harpsichord I've yet heard.

  • i never hear this vertion

    beutifull

    love his soul

    great artist

    bach and jarrett for ever
